I'm positive that little, bartlett & olives will celebrate a triple sneeze on 25th Feb!

itsMYNutella · 29/11/2012 07:54

Oh, I meant to ask: whims are hts&ths hundreds and thousands?

clickingtock · 29/11/2012 17:35

Nuts - full moon on Dec 28... DS was born one week after a full moon though so perhaps this is also a chosen time for babies? Good luck controlling bean's arrival. Wink

Keep going Smegs - we're brooking.

Whims - I love a charity shop win. Full marks. When does your DS3 turn 3 btw?

Boo - hope your boy continues to mend and challenge your blue plans. Does this mean he will eat loads of blueberries?

Olives, Little and Gen - trusting that 28wk bloods etc go well and looking forward to 25 Feb.

How are you Stacks, Biscuits, Sparkle and Bartlett - anyone else I missed?

All booked in for a HB despite crazy MW who wouldn't listen to anything I said. Seems glucose no longer an issue and they are trusting that my iron is on the up. V pleased as baby has started to engage and is in a good position. Plus v steady blood pressure etc. Even did my birth plan this morning. Can't wait now. Nearly finished all the crazy nesting, cleaning and house renovations too. And DS is being a joy most of the time though toilet training v hit and miss with an ongoing funny tummy, not his fault bless 'im. smug old cow, bows head in shame

Anyone else enjoying The Hour 2?

whimsicalname · 29/11/2012 17:53

Yep, h&ts are indeed hundreds n thousands nut.

Great news on the hb tock. I just saw my ob who said I could request an induction any time from 38 weeks. It's starting to sound quite tempting, especially with the logistics of children and hospitals and nice but new friends. #3 not 3 until June. Seems like he was only just 2!

Any news smegs?

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 29/11/2012 22:31

Brooking for you Smegs

ScrambledSmegs · 29/11/2012 22:38

Yay for home birth, tock! And yes, I love the Hour. It's brilliant. Have a crush on Ben Whishaw, and a major girl crush on Anna Chancellor. I'm also watching The Killing 3 - so intriguing. Really want to buy DD a Sarah Lund-style jumper and take photos of her looking all pensive and Scandi chic Grin

No news here. Except I'm exhausted, as last night I had another slow volley of contractions in the night, which stopped. Again. And DD wasn't at nursery today so I had to entertain her all day. Poor little girl probably wonders where her old fun mummy has gone.

I may be having mild contractions now. I will report back should things look up. Otherwise I have acupuncture and a sweep booked for tomorrow afternoon. And now I'm going to bed, I need sleep!

TheLittleFriend · 29/11/2012 22:45

Good luck smegs

Night all x

Brooking this is it for you Smegs :)

clickingtock · 30/11/2012 09:20

Oh Smegs - how frustrating for you. Don't worry about DD just yet. It will all settle down for her and she will soon be entertained by her sibling, momentarily. I really hope acupuncture has to be cancelled! Wink

DP and I love The Killing too. V sad this is the last series.

Lots of pretty intense BHicks here. New to me as never experienced with DS.

Am about to put up pics of the baby's sleeping bag I crocheted - bit rubbish tbh but nice colours and will deffo be good around the house.

Waves to all.

xxx

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 30/11/2012 09:46

Ooh Tock that's not rubbish at all, that is really lovely :) I wish I had skills like that, cross stitch has no real use like that.

ScrambledSmegs · 30/11/2012 09:47

Another night being woken by contractions and nothing now. Angry

GenericDietCola · 30/11/2012 10:06

Oh Smegs, I'm sorry it hasn't kicked off properly but I laughed at 'Higgs Bosons' - v funny! Like you and Tock, I've been having more BHs this time round too, perhaps it's a second-timer thing. I think Little said the same.

MiniGen is still quite wriggly. Sometimes it is in the right position (I can tell by where the hiccups are), but last night, it moved into a transverse position again and stuck its bottom out right into my navel. I'm hoping it will get into the right position soon as I'm starting to mental about what will happen if it's not head down. Tell me I'm being daft and there is still time

Happy Friday everyone.

clickingtock · 30/11/2012 10:06

Aw thanks Boo - just a bit sloppy in detail but overall impact is quite nice and Swedish. Smile I love a toggle don't you?

Smegs - feeling it for you. Really hope you have some RESULTS soon. C'mon Spider, mummy want you out. xxx

Stacks · 30/11/2012 10:09

Morning all. I've been reading but no energy to post. Came down with a cold on Monday and still not shifted it. Not fun.

Had MW appointment yesterday, baby still not fully engaged. Been told to walk round lots, but feeling awful isn't helping with that plan. 2 weeks till next appointment, when I'll be 40+3, I think she'll offer a sweep then. Inductions here are currently booked for 40+13, which is a bit too close to Christmas for my liking (22nd). Lots of brooking baby comes sooner, preferably 12/12/12 :)

Smegs do you get any chance to rest during the day? This baby will be here soon, and you need as much rest as you can. Hope things move along for you soon, brooking it'll be tonight this weekend.

Hello to everyone else. I'd like to say more, but fear I need a new head before information can be retained. My head is currently just pain and snot, no room for brain Sad

GenericDietCola · 30/11/2012 10:47

Oh Tock I love the sleeping bag! Aren't you clever?

Stacks - get to bed and rest until your cold has gone. Go on!

MissLToeishavingsantasbabyboo · 30/11/2012 10:59

Tock I do love a toggle :) and a baby sleeping bag!

Stacks rest, warm drinks and trashy tv until you are better, brookers orders Brew

Come on spider Smegs we can't wait to meet you Bear

Stacks · 30/11/2012 11:05

Random post. Been on the brooking grad thread to get to know people. Lots of complaints about the updated iPhone app - so if you use it, think twice about the update. Makes all the smile icons look completely different, makes the bear not work etc. I've not updated, so haven't seen it, but lots of confusion over there.

whimsicalname · 30/11/2012 11:48

Lovely bag tock. I'm knitting little cardies like a mad woman.

Speaking of which, I put a pic of my ginorma-tum on fb. How does it compare other 3rd trimesterers?

Hope you feel better soon stacks. I swear by olbas oil bubble bath in similar circs. Smelly but effective.

Happy Friday one and all. And you're all half way through it! I'm in bed psyching myself up for waking the brood.

TheLittleFriend · 30/11/2012 14:11

Just a quick one, but stacks they're right, don't do the app update! It won't let me on this thread!

ScrambledSmegs · 30/11/2012 14:58

Acupuncture good. 3 biggish contractions /BH's during 20 minute treatment. More since. At the catching breath level, IYKWIM. DH excited, wants to know if he should come and meet me at the hospital. Daft lad that he is Grin. I'm feeling quite chilled about it, don't think I'll believe it till I'm in active labour!

Consultant in 30mins, hope to get some positive news then.

I like the sleeping bag tock, very tiny on my phone but it looks pretty great to me!

JenFrankincenseAndMyrrh · 30/11/2012 15:00

Woohoo Smegs
