Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

We're mostly a complete role-reversal than a stereotypical relationship other than the fact that I'm a SAHM & he works! He's very much like his mum! She's a 50s wife but also held down a full time job, kept an immaculate house & managed to have dinner made from scratch (including dessert) on the table at 7 every night! Thankfully he established long ago that I am nothing like his mother! Grin

Jojoba1986 · 11/10/2012 22:55

I found something I can eat!!! Grin Grin

Unfortunately I don't think DH is going to buy me curry from the takeaway for every meal for the next 6 weeks! Sad

Thundernonk · 12/10/2012 08:29

Good work jojo! Why dont you make a couple of big batches and then freeze some- your own cheap takeaway!

IBelieveInPonk · 12/10/2012 08:48

Oh my goodness! Shattered today! Still just a few hours and then it is the weekend, woo! Although all I can think of right now is heading back to bed.

Would it be wrong to nap under my desk? Bit obvious maybe?

Thundernonk · 12/10/2012 08:50

Nah, just head down there to pick up a paper clip and come back up an hour later feeling refreshed!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 12/10/2012 08:51

Zzzzzzzzz

Thundernonk · 12/10/2012 08:54

Me neither, woke with big headache. We should have a collective bus duvet day today.

IBelieveInPonk · 12/10/2012 09:24

Oh yeah we should.

It's actually making me quite sad, all I can think about is being back on the sofa with a chick flick and a massive duvet. I don't want to worrrrrrk!

Thundernonk · 12/10/2012 09:28

Do you have lots to get done today?

IBelieveInPonk · 12/10/2012 09:52

Unfortunately yes.

How's everyone else doing today?

Lorelei353 · 12/10/2012 10:42

Morning, morning.

I would be SO up for a collective bus duvet day today. All I could think about when I woke up this morning was how tonight I could come home, get into PJs and not move off the sofa until Monday. Have been out the last three nights, plus working every day and am shattered.

Friday is my busiest day of the week so it'll be a long day but hopefully I can get out by 6.30 and go home.

Other than that, I feel okay except for the constant low-level hunger!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 12/10/2012 11:28

Unfortunately I have been awake and up for the past 6 hours, and still would not class myself as awake. On the plus side get to send the next hour and a half doing nothing and stuffing my face, in the hope that I can make it until I get home without starving.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 12/10/2012 11:29

On the plus plus side, I am less hormonal today. I might actually make it through the day without crying

Hi Ladies! shy wave

I've been lurking on this thread for about a week and a half. My EDD is 26th May 2013! Eeeek! I made a silly pact with myself that I wouldn't utter a word to anyone other than my DH until my appointment with my GP this morning. I have no idea why, I knew it wouldn't make too much difference, but I suppose I wanted it to be official!

So yes, here I am - up the duff! How weird!! My husband and I were married on 30th June this year, so it's been an extremely eventful year so far!! xxx

Lorelei353 · 12/10/2012 11:46

Kitten!

Sounds tough frus. Hopefully the food you're getting in will keep your blood sugar up and perk you up a bit.

Lorelei353 · 12/10/2012 11:47

Hi HayzyB. Welcome on board!

I know how you feel about not telling anyone. We haven't told a soul (except my yoga teacher) but that's part of why I'm on here - so I can get all the babble out!

HayzyB · 12/10/2012 11:51

Thanks Lorelei!!!

I'm finding it sooooooo hard not to tell my Mum, Dad and brother. We're all incredibly close and it's actually agonising not to give them the news which is going to make them all so excited! DH and I have decided to tell them on Sunday. It would have been my Nan's birthday - we lost her unexpectedly last October. So I'm hoping telling them then will be a good omen! (fingers crossed anyway!)

Lorelei353 · 12/10/2012 11:54

I'm dying to tell my sister and mum too. My sister is the only person who knows that we started TTC in early July.
We weren't going to tell anyone until after 12/13 week scan but I think we might revise that and tell immediate family only after my first GP appt. on 1st Nov. It seems like AGES away! I'm only 5 +5 so still very early days!

HayzyB · 12/10/2012 11:58

I feel your pain!! I only had to wait a week for my GP appointment, but it seemed like a month! There's no way I could wait to tell them until the first scan!!! Saying that, they'd guess anyway - we tend do do a lot of socialising together that involves a glass of wine or two. It would be so obvious!!

Lorelei353 · 12/10/2012 12:03

Ah my family are back in Ireland so I can dodge the not-drinking giveaway. I'm going over on Nov 17th/18th though and if we have a family dinner my family will not believe any excuse for not drinking then!

Jojoba1986 · 12/10/2012 12:42

Yay! Kittens everywhere! Grin

Hi Hayzy! Congrats!

I'm feeling much better than yesterday(!) but still not brilliant! I have a fully functioning oven as of yesterday & all the ingredients I need so really should be cooking for DS's birthday party next weekend... Not exactly happening though!
I'm also feeling like the world's worst mum - DS & I both fell asleep after DH left for work & slept through snacktime & I was getting annoyed with DS for being agitated & acting hungry about an hour before normal lunchtime! Took me nearly 20 minutes to figure out why! Blush Might have to start putting alarms on my phone so I can remember to stick to his routine! Baby brain!

HayzyB · 12/10/2012 13:39

Hi jojo! Thanks so much!

I actually just sat in a Starbucks with my mum, with a newborn in a pram parked next to me!! It was like torture not to say anything!!!! DH asked if I can wait until he is there to tell her....

I feel sick ATM....not like I'm actually going to be sick. But a bit icky. And yet I still want a McD banana milkshake!

bringonthetrumpets · 12/10/2012 15:00

Oh dear. DH just had to change DS 1&2 nappies this morning. I couldn't even be in the same side of the house..... [vom]

Thundernonk · 12/10/2012 15:08

Hey all!

How's everyone doing this afternoon? All ok?

I've got my booking in appt- next Thurs! Apparently it'll take about an hour! But disappointed that I ended up ringing them when they said they'd ring me, but really wanted to be able to make it!

Will be great to get started as it were.
