Wow, great news James. You seem really laid back considering, I think I would have had a full on nervous breakdown by now.

I've just done one of those internet due date calculator things based on my last cycle length and my EDD was calculated as 24/6/13 which is my 40th Birthday! That would be some birthday present from mother nature

Had my booking in appointment with lovely midwife. We have to book our own scans here though which is actually better for me as I'm very limited in when i can get free time to have it so don't have to worry about hospital sending me an inconvenient date.

I'm feeling terrible at the moment, i haven't been sick but feel nauseous and dizzy all the time and i forgot how overwhelming the tiredness is!!!!!!

Any news on the facebook group?

I have been having really weird dreams and nightmares about mc over the last few days (understandable with my pregnancy history). Have been trying not to worry as not good, etc but was struggling until DH said to me today to find some perspective with it. He said that if I expect it to go wrong, it will and with bean being inside me and taking nutrients, etc from me then it would also take the worry as well. Now I know this is a bit silly, however I can't change what is going to happen and so it has helped me to stop worrying so much and to start to enjoy the fact that today "I am pregnant!" FX this little bean is very sticky and viable this time.

Dontmindifido - I was wearing maternity jeans at my 12 week scan last time! So I'm guessing I will be in them slightly earlier this time around!!

Hi, I'm 5 +5 now and starting to feel really rough though not been sick yet, with ds I had really bad all day sickness but with my dd I wasn't too bad. I struggled today at work and don't know how long I can put off telling my boss! Glad to hear James has good news x ( by the way how can I add myself to the list, am not very good at this!)

Great news James

Well not feeling as queasy now and managed to polish off fish, chips and curry sauce

I definately have a bump going on, I normally have quite a flat stomach but already there is a definate bump as it starts from under my boobs. I started "showing" at about 12 weeks last time so much earlier this time so I am thinking it may be harder to disguise although it may just be the fish, chips and curry sauce

We had a chippy tea too although I was reasonably good and bought a chicken salad wrap thingy instead of fish and chips. Which meant I had room for lots of chocolates after! I had myself a mini celebration lol

Haven't scoured the thread, did we have any results on the weeing on bicarb gender tests? Any fizzy boys or flat girls?

Can I join? I am due 12th June I think according to one of those calculator things :)

Welcome scruffy I think it's only natural to be scared, I reckon most of us probably knicker check at every wee stop and are counting own the days until scans. We are all here so any worries just voice them and we'll help as much as we can.

Hello to all the newbies from me. Like some others on here there will be 23 months between this nipper and my DS. What am I letting myself in for?!

Still feeling nauseas throughout the day and my jeans are getting tighter.

preggersbycheggers yup 23 months between mine too - must be something in the air.
Am feeling queasy most of the day now - although am only 5 weeks today so am expecting it to get worse very soon. My lovely DH just gave me a warm choc brownie and coffee ice cream and.....
I COULDN'T EAT IT - ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I can't remember when I had my booking in appt last time - I seem to recall it was around 10 weeks, and then we were desperate to get the 1st scan before Christmas - ended up having it on 23rd Dec which was a lovely chrimbo surprise for our families - could have saved some money and not bought presents

Hi there everyone.... Pos earlier and delighted to see my faint pink line. EDD 27th June... This will be (with all going well) a younger sibling to our 4 DC . So excited.... Ricidulously so!

39 at the moment...plan to relax and enjoy every minute of what will probably be my last pregnancy. My previous 4 pregnancies were all so different, but most importantly I have 4 healthy DC. At the moment just suffering from sore boobs - no nausea!

Hi 3 and Eee congratulations on your BFP. I'm a late June EDD too, won't be sure on a date until I've had a scan as recent MC has messed things up a bit.

So, in the spirit of scientific research, I had a go on the bicarbonate of soda... No fizz. Can't remember what that means now (apart from maybe I'm an obsessed pregnant lady that can't stop weeing on things!).

No symptoms today, which scares the bejibes out of me

The -waking at 4am and not being able to go back to sleep- phase has started. Great. At least it's not quite as bad as with ds1. I used to resort to getting up and watching baby/birth programs and surfing mumsnet to stop going insane in the early hours.

Feeling grotty again. The best way to describe it is like having a permanent hangover without all the fun beforehand. Roll on 12 weeks.
