The pic sounds amazing Too Airbrushed as well, I haven't a clue about such things. My nan did start using internet a few years ago but never seemed that happy, then her sight began getting too bad so she never used it again. She's 84.

Woohoo! Jessops allowed the swap! (Mainly because getting the right lens meant they got an extra £115 out of me!) Now I just have to figure out how to use it...

Hooray for Scarlet's builders finally leaving!! Yay!!!! It's a pain that there's so much clean up left, but at least from now on every day your house will get a little tidier. The soul-destroying thing about builders' mess is that it replenishes itself every day!

Popcorn I don't think the evil punchy child's Mum actually saw what he did. (Or she pretended not too! ) It was insanely busy (as always) on Oxford St at the time, and I was so stunned I said nothing and just stood there dumbstruck for a minute! So surreal!

Too I LOVE the fact that your Nan does airbrushing! That's a serious life skill! My DH used to work in SFX for adverts/movies (crazy long hours, low pay, hence the change to registrar a few years ago) so he knows a million ways to change an image. I still couldn't get him to airbrush our wedding photos though. My Nan has fully embraced texting, and it's now her preferred mode of communication! Anything else remotely techy (such as requiring the computer to be switched ON) she's not so fond of.

DH is just packing now, he should get back early on sat 14th April. Hopefully i will be able to get the balance between resting and doing stuff just right to make the time pass quickly!

Right, am going to try to manage a shower on my own while keeping dog and baby separate. This is complicated by the fact that DH carried the Moses basket into the living room but not the stand, so I have to try to carry it back to the bedroom so I can hear Bean from the shower if she wakes up.

45 mins more work then off to meet dp and ds at the walk in centre about ds's knee. Poor mite is still limping when he gets up and having trouble going up and down stairs. Hope we don't have to wait too long to be seen.
On another note, when you get a bit dizzy, its usually low blood pressue isn't it? I think I need to eat something.

Well, I managed the shower with bathroom and bedroom doors open so I could see the Moses basket, but then she woke up almost immediately afterwards . Maybe taking her into the bathroom would help - it might make her stay asleep, Pomme!

Ninja, yes, think it's low blood pressure. Eat something! Usually helps me. Hope DS's knee gets better soon.

Ohhh, DH is cooking dinner and it smells delicious, but Maia is making little squeaks from her basket even though I only just put her down after feeding for half an hour (no more than 10 minutes after the previous feed). It's a race against time - will dinner be ready before she wakes up, and will I get to eat it hot, or will I wind up feeding her again while my lovely dinner congeals on the plate? I can't take the suspense!

Is Maia having a growth spurt? I think Ethan is - I remember pomme saying this about Abbie at 3 weeks? Literally we finish feeding and he drops off for a bit and then seems to be hungry again instantly! And I have to fit in getting meals for DS somewhere too - no time left for me to eat! . And DH is working such long hours so I can't start cooking our tea until I've got them both in bed so we get our tea about 9 o clock!!

Hello Biscuits, fellow sufferer of cold dinners! This is maybe why the weight is supposed to drop off when you bf, because you rarely get to eat in peace. I think this must be a growth spurt. The longest she's slept today is the hour she spent in the sling while we walked the dog. And yes, she has been feeding, napping for 15 minutes and then wanting more.

How do you get a baby to go to bed?? [awe]

In other news though I had him weighed at the clinic that and he's put on 12oz in a week! So at least he's doing something with all this feeding!!

Yes week three was constant feeding! Abbie feeds a lot though - during the day she still feeds every two hours. Today we had more awake time of being calm rather than fussy. Her fussy time seems to be focused on four to six currently. Perfect timing to upset tea and bath time - whoop! She does however save her biggest feed of the day for sevenish which gives me hope for when I do implement bedtime with her.

Today however dd1 was at nursery and we went shopping with my mum for clothes for me including an outfit for my best friends wedding in three weeks. Had two shop assistants helping me in my quest for an outfit that flatters saggy tum and offers good boob access! It was fun and Abbie stayed asleep through it.

Sorry to hear about teeny babies feeding constantly! Well done to Biscuits and Ethan for excellent growth though! Hope the constant feeding for all the little ones settles down soon!

No brooking for Ninja's DS's leg to get better asap, poor little guy.

Nothing happening at my end - one week to the all-important cs booking appointment. I'm craving curry tonight, but with my Mum's history of 36 week births, and as I'm currently at 35+4 with my cs not yet booked in, I'm steering clear of curry for now just in case! I've even stopped doing my physio exercises on the ball to avoid inadvertently speeding up the baby's head engaging!

scream. On the other hand, I am barely off my ball, so determined am I to get this baby's head down and engaged. I can still feel the head and bum under my ribs though so I'm starting to try and think a bit more positively about having a CS. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow.

Er no thanks, I think I've earned a rest after everything I've put up with the last few months! But I will be packing my hospital bag and washing all my baby stuff this weekend

DH is working away until tomorrow night. I'm trying not to think too much about being on my own with DS for the next 36 hours, just trying to think of things to do to make my life easier. He'll drive me up the walls if we stay in, but I can't venture too far as I'm so achey, so I'm thinking a trip to the park using ice cream as bribery to get him home when I've had enough. I usually look like I'm kidnapping him getting him home from the park, pomme's rolled up carpet technique is the only way

I feel rough rough rough today. I know I should just be grateful I seem to have escaped the dreaded morning sickness, but I am sooooo tired atm I slept for 10 hours last night. Except I'm constantly dehydrated - I seem to have a headache the moment I remove the pint glass of water from my hand - so I was up to pee and drink water three times, sigh.

Pop - rolled up carpet = child tucked under one arm like a carpet, head poking out the front, feet poking out behind. Tres useful when your toddler does the thing where they decide their legs don't work and they go all floppy like a rag doll.

Morning all. I am officially on mat leave today! Hooray! DH took DD to the childminder this morning and I have one whole day to myself. My report is finished and I have one lot of emails to send and then I am all done.

MIL has now gone thank goodness. Sadly her helpfulness ran out by Monday night and I really didn't want a guest to be running around after.

I had my last growth scan/ consultant appointment and my bp is still fine. The baby is following the curve. I have to go for another antenatal appointment tomorrow but I am just going to the GP for that. So, all being well, everything is still on for Tuesday .

Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep too and biscuits but fingers crossed the 3 week growth spurt passes quickly.

Too I was told that the HV expects your house to be untidy! S no need to tidy up. I hope that the jaundice has all cleared up. Hopefully the sunshine will have chased any last bits away.

Popcorn you sleep all you can, while you can! I think at this point you are making lots of extra blood so that might be partly why you are so thirsty.

Just got a letter with my 20 week scan date on! It's mid May, yay - now I'm excited all over again :o

Tempted to buy a doppler, but can't decide if it would just make me mentul if I couldn't find the HB on occasion?? What's the brooking school of thought on this?

Wow on the scan date Pop I think you said that your EDD had been moved a few days earlier than me so I guess my letter will arrive in the next week or two. Hard to believe mid May is only about 8 weeks away!!
