New development... Not only can I feel the baby kicks, I can now also see them from the outside! Going to have to get dh to try and feel them!

How exciting Beeble! I love sitting and watching my bump move around, hope your DH is able to feel the kicks, it's a special moment when they can!

It's been a bit quiet in here hasn't it....

Not much going on with me, we're moving a week today so spending my days pottering around and beginning to get organised for that. Lovely DH has booked a full packing service Enjoying this gorgeous weather - finally maternity-leave weather has kicked in !

Late - it certainly has been quiet around here. I have to pay attention real close to see the little kicks. I had a dream last night that the little one was kicking and the whole foot was sticking out and I could totally see the toes and everything! it was very very strange.

Have a fasting ultrasound today to check out possible gallbladder issues. had a couple really painful attacks over the weekend... with the bland bland diet things seem to have settled down though wich is good.

18 week ultrasound tomorrow, really hoping to find out the gender! My 90 yr old grandma is going to come with us. It's going to be super special!

Hello lovlies! I feel awful I haven't posted for so long but I really can not believe where the last 15 weeks have gone. So sorry and its super annoying that this thread has dissapeared off my phone and I am soo rubbish that I never get on the laptop.

So exciting late that you are on mat leave and moving house...very bloody exciting! Not long left now and hope that you are feeling well and dandy...you have fab weather (although hope it is not too hot for you)

Flick hope your infection has cleared up - poor thing sounds like you have had a few bits to contend with. Your bump is looking great - cant believe there is hardly anytime left for you too!

dessie and beeble so pleased things are going progressing well for you both too. And hello to all the newbies.... exciting that there are so many new ftf!

I have to say I am only starting to feel like I am getting my head above water! I was in total shock after the birth of R - with the blood loss, problems with bfing and then trying to get R diagnosed with his reflux...its only now that I am starting to enjoy it a bit. It was super stressful with R is pain so much which I think I didnt do to well with. Poor little man is now being medicated so we can start to enjoy life a bit more... he is a handful and I have no idea where the days go! He certainly keeps me busy as a bee.
Its so lovely to see more babies due very very soon though...late hope your bag is packed and you are feeling ready ( if that is EVER possible!!)

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the weather and lovely growing bumps...you wierdly really miss the bump once you have given birth!!

Well, mark one down for team blue! Everything was as it should be with the scan, and we saw some very obvious boy bits, baby had no shame with legs wide open.

Still a bit sad it's not a girl, even though I have thought all along it was a boy. Oh well, there is always next time.

Hi Ladies! Hope you are all well and enjoyed the sunshine. I had a scan on Wednesday. All good, very strange to see something that actually looked like a baby instead if the blob that was there a month ago! They've moved my EDD forward a few days (due to baby's long legs!) so it is now 29th Nov. I have a group appointment with the midwives next week which I'm really looking forward to. It'll be nice to meet other mums expecting around the same time.
We've handed notice in on our house and found a new one in the small town 15 miles away (civilisation!!!) so will be moving on August 1st. I can't wait to start nesting! It's smaller than this one but it's near shops, playgroup, doctors etc and I'll be able to socialise with other mums so I'm really looking forward to it.

Hello all, just dropping in briefly to say hi - we moved house last week and BT are taking a VERY long time to hook us up to telephone & internet & my stupid iPhone has decided not to connect either, I have been digitally marooned!

SO, I'm due on Friday! Eeek! Bump has definitely dropped, things are getting a bit uncomfortable and my walking has got even slower

Dessie - lovely scan news! (I love scans, it's just amazing to see the baby developing, I couldn't get enough of them!) And your house move sounds like it's going to be a positive thing - at least you're doing it well in advance of your due date, unlike DH & I!

Hope everyone is well & enjoying the Jubilee - I was down in the Mall soaking it all up at the Golden Jubilee, this time I'm watching it all from the sofa with my fat feet elevated How life has changed!

Huge thunder storm last night. Loudest lightening I have EVER heard. But if that wasn't bad enough, our power went out. Which would be ok ssince we were in bed, but our smoke detectors are hard wired in, and chirp loudly every 15 seconds to let you know they have no power. Wtf is that!?!

Then I had really grumpy dreams..l

Late.i can't believe you are so close to d day! I.m wishing youa quick and easy labour. May you sneeze your baby out! Lol

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while and keeping up with you all but waiting in the wings until I had some news to post...

Late: Best of luck for the birth! Hope it all goes as smoothly as possible and please come and tell us all about it!

Beeble: Congratulations on the news of a baby boy! Hope you're feeling less grumpy now but the weather doesn't help much, does it?

Dessie: Scans are great, aren't they? I would have one every day if I could! Great news about your new house and area. I didn't know you could have group appointments with the midwife? How did that go?

I've just had my 16-week appointment with my midwife which was reassuring as I could hear the baby's heartbeat loud and clear! I have certainly noticed a bump forming in the last couple of days rather than just flab which is what I had before and I love it! I can't wait to get bigger and to look "properly" preggers. I haven't told my mum yet! She lives overseas (where I'm from) and I've been meaning to tell her over skype for the last couple of weeks but she hasn't got round to installing it yet. She promised she would by this weekend so we shall see...she's been waiting for these news for at least 10 years (I'm an only child so her only hope of grandchildren) so I think I'll make sure she's sitting down comfortably before I say anything...

Sorry for mahoosive absence, I went on holiday for a couple of weeks and then been busy since I got back so not had time to post. I've been catching up on news of you all though.

Just wanted to say good luck and easy birth wishes to late, and yay for gender news for beeble. My scan was yesterday, went really well and we found out we are having a girl. It seems so much more real to know the gender and I've been mega excited since.

We are also moving house like..well, everyone I've known recently who's been pregnant, lol! Like Dessie am looking forward to doing up the nursery etc.

Hi also to flick and cave and also all the new peeps, and MCT have fun telling your mum your good news - hope she gets the skype installed soon!

Hello all! Nothing to report I'm afraid, baby is staying resolutely put for the time being , no twinges, no nothing! Saw the midwife this morning & she's happy to leave it another week before starting to interfere. That suits me fine as I want to go to my friend's wedding tomorrow
I have started on the raspberry leaf capsules so we'll see what effect that has....!

Exciting!! You sound very relxed and happy - just the right way to be to coax baby out. It is the LAW that the more stressed you are about when they will arrive, the later they will be! How is the new house? Have you even had a chance to unpack your boxes yet??

Mural Wall

Yay! Mom and I got the mural wall up in the soon to be nursery. Getting a little bit done each weekend.

But I DO NOT want to have to stand up or sit down one more time today! My hips are paying for it!
