OMG, have been asleep since about 1.00pm . I'm still dozy too but if I don't get up now I won't sleep tonight!

I'm another one who is camera shy. So far there are.......NO pictures of me looking like a great big pregnant whale!
I'd forgotten about the arty pictures, now I might have another go at finding somewhere that does them.

Nemo, you must feel better about having your letter now. Should be full steam ahead for you on the 16th then.

I'm sure we will be fine for the meet up. Are they going to turn away starving preggie ladies. I can always turn the waterworks on.

Nemo666 · 26/10/2005 16:56

oh well ive bitten the bullet and posted a pic of dh and I and one of adam.

Nemo666 · 26/10/2005 16:57

am hoping so george about the date. A few people have told me as long as its a reasonable request then they tend not to refuse it. As oi have the backing of cpn, mw and psychatrist who all think its reasonable and also have a femal consultant should be ok..lol

Nemo666 · 26/10/2005 17:00

do you know Ive just realised we have taken no bump pics at all this time...i have loads with adam

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 17:03

ooo go Nemo! will check it out.

Nice pic EI of you on the other site, should put that one up on ours? No worries George you're not hte ony one thats shy!

Pregnancy Pics sound really nice, just a thought is a local art colllege. They are alwasy looking for new models, and would be very discreet am sure!

DH has just come home with the most MASSSSIVE pumpkin...i mentioned that it would be good to carve one out for outside the door on Halloween... trouble is what do i do with the rest of it... pumpkin soup perhaps?

flutterbee · 26/10/2005 17:06

OK I have added a few pics of my wedding 28th May 2005 so I was a few weeks about 7 weeks pg at the time maybe a bit more.

Love being able to look at other ppls pics come on everyone join in.

Nemo + Jay ...... lookin good ladies lookin good

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 17:07

NIce one...lovely pics of Flutters wedding, your dress is really different, lovely colour! And Nemo, grrat pics of DH and DS. Adam looks just like you both!!

george32 · 26/10/2005 17:07

Oooh, I love carving out pumpkins. I buy them on the pretence it is for the kids (who have no interest whatsoever!) then I sit there for hours carving away.

Do you look at your bump pictures from Adam Nemo? Do you think I will regret not taking any?

Nemo666 · 26/10/2005 17:09

george i do look at the pics of adam..esp the ones the night before i was induced[a scarey sight] so feel a bit guilty for not doing any this time.

george32 · 26/10/2005 17:12

I might have to get DP to get the camera out then.
There is still lots of time for you to take some.

flutterbee · 26/10/2005 17:13

Thanks Jay, it's a one off dress that I had hand made. As you can see I'm a big girl and all the dresses in shops for my size are horrid or will cost a fortune to have altered to my size so I found this lovely boutique that makes them. The lady drew the original piccy and it was perfect just what I wanted and for the dress, shoes, tiara, veil and 3 cravats to match the red she charged just over £1000. I know it sounds a lot but when I added up all those things seperatley it was actually cheaper.

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 17:15

Nothing stopping you from taking some pics now George and Nemo...never say never!
I had no choice in the matter, both DH nad myself love taking pics and documenting time, it only happens once then its gone!!

Baby on Boardhas posted some too from Novemeber, the balls rolling now!!

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 17:23

Flutter, i think you got a superb deal, very good price for a one off designer dress!! After my wedding all i wanted to do was do it all again, was such a great day!! I bought my dress two sizes to big as i was going to be 20 wks when i got married, i had to have it taken in a dress size thoug , think i thought i was going to be massssive, but i dont think you can even tell i am pg in my pics...

flutterbee · 26/10/2005 17:40

I have to say although it has only been 5 months since the wedding it feels like bloody ages ago, it waa a great day my DH is Ghanaian and his mum did this great traditional wedding dance for us it was really special. Then when the disco was on Amirrilo was put on for my 4yr old nephew (it was his favorite)and everyone got up and danced to it in a big circle doing all the actions the wedding video is just fantastic.

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 18:03

Sounds great, i love all weddings and traditions and quirks that different families have surrounding them, makes then all so special!

Flutter and Nemo, hope you dont mind, under the Due in December folder i have created sep folders for us all, Keeps it neat and then everyone knows who is who if we foget to put our names on them!

Might attempt the pumpkin after dinner, or it might be a bit early .. does pumpkin dry out, will it keep till Monday night if i cut it out now....never done one before. Going to make some spider cakes too as i have been invited to a Halloween party on Friday run by the NCT. I dont have a baby to take ( yet) so thought id take cakes! Not been to a NCT gathering yet so wont know anyone, still alwas time to make new friends!

babyonboard · 26/10/2005 18:04

jaysfirst!
Should I limit how many pics I post given what you said about space?
Or wait to see if it gets full ?

george32 · 26/10/2005 18:07

JF, they can have a tendancy to rot if you do them too early (esp if you have them inside). The lids then cave in and it's not a nice mess to clear up.

LOL, listen to me, the pumpkin expert!!

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 18:08

BOB go ahead and add them, until more people add theirs am sure it will be ok. If we get a sudden rush on them we will have to limit them, till them go ahead and post!
I will keep an eye out

Jaysfirst · 26/10/2005 18:11

euwwwwwww George....doesnt sound to nice, i dont fancy making the DH clear that up !!!!hehehehehehehe. Will wait till Sat or Sun then to make a mess!

Nemo666 · 26/10/2005 18:12

jf thats fine about the files..

george i havent carved a pumpkin since i was about 9 but now might buy one with the shopping to do one for adam...or could just drag dh round the store and buy a plastice on

babyonboard · 26/10/2005 18:14

Thanks..it's just I have a tendency to get carried away with such things! lol..

flutterbee · 26/10/2005 18:16

I'm doing a pumpkin this year, they have some really huge ones at my local grocers. I'm going to scoop the insides out and give it to my mum as she is making pumpkin pie.

Not sure what my pumpkin will look like as I haven't done one for years and if I remember rightly the last one I did made me a total laughing stock.

george32 · 26/10/2005 18:16

I'm going to try to add my 20 wk scan pictures. Wish me luck, it could take a while..........

babyonboard · 26/10/2005 18:20

my scan pictues have come out so small in comparison to the others..not sure why?

flutterbee · 26/10/2005 18:21

If you select your pic and then resize the image this might work.

Don't blame me if it goes horribly wrong though.
