...and we're gliding towards the third trimester, draped in suitably flowing attire.

Christmas babies growing. Energy is slowing.

Lavitabellissima · 13/10/2010 11:08

I like it Strix Smile Go for it xx

Strix · 13/10/2010 11:10

Which one?

(by the way, I am very jealous that this is your last day of work)

Lavitabellissima · 13/10/2010 11:15

Either or both of the first 2 lines.

I am so happy it my last day, I am so over it! just found out I'm not entitled to my bonus though whilst on maternity leave which is annoying but fair I suppose. When are you finishing?

Strix · 13/10/2010 12:00

What? That doesn't sound fair. Why?

PJen · 13/10/2010 13:15

strix I love the "Christmas babies growing. Energy is slowing" I CAN'T wait for xmas to come this year and am dying to buy my girl a tiny santa outfit!!! xoxox

Lavita you can get for sure pro-rated bonus for 2010, no? You have worked 10 months out of 12?? But for 2011 I was also told that it is pro-rated, meaning if I stay home for a year there will be no bonus for 2011.... I have 4.5 more weeks to work :(

Strix · 13/10/2010 13:22

You guys need to start a thread under employment issues and ask for flowery what's her name. She will know. This sounds didgy to me... but I'm not an expert.

PJen · 13/10/2010 13:39

Girls, There is a voucher for mother care - you get 25 GBP off your pushchair purchase of 250... so it is not much but 10 percent is better than nothing... quote the code "NFT"

Lavitabellissima · 13/10/2010 13:57

I will only work 3 weeks out of the financial year if I take a full 12 months off. My bonus is based on meeting financial budgets and passing various quality & financial budgets. As I'm not here I'm not eligible apparently but will be paid pro rat for my 3 weeks effort probably about £400 if I'm lucky. I'll look into it further though if you think it's worth it.

Strix · 13/10/2010 14:29

Oh thankyou PJEN. I may go get mybugaboo bee there shortly. Smile

PJen · 13/10/2010 15:00

Strix, I am going to send you an email tonight with a better promotion for Bugaboo. I don't have the code here with me... Read it before you go buy it as it will save you more...

japhrimel · 13/10/2010 15:21

If you're buying big stuff or lots of stuff for a home delivery in Mothercare, go in-store and ask about the "threshold discount". It's an unpublicised discount you can get on big purchases when shopping in store - if you spend £150, it's £15 off I think and for every £100 above £150 you get an extra £10 off. Also, if you order in-store you can get free shipping, even if they are ordering off the website for delivery. Grin Worth the hassle of going to the store if it's near you.

Can't believe I'm 7 months gone! OMG!

Though the nursery is now nearly decorated Grin so then I can paint the bits of furniture I got second hand and set every up this weekend. Can't wait!
