Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes!!! i cant believe how quickly its creeping up on me! trying to keep busy so i dont get chance to sit and think about it! I hope everyones little bundles that are due dont keep them waiting too long!!

Kiwifruit · 11/09/2005 09:34

Congratulations Franch and family, and welcome to Carmen!!! Wow, I think you will win the prize for the fastest delivery !!! Guess the accupuncture works then . Hope you're recovering OK.

Kiwifruit · 11/09/2005 09:35

Good luck for tomorrow Helenemjay . Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl?

LadyLazarus · 11/09/2005 10:20

CONGRATULATIONS Franch and family But a half-hour labour?! You've scared me (and DH!)now! Must be all that acupuncture! Gorgeous names as well, by the way.

zoezebra · 11/09/2005 10:40

Congratulations pooka and franch .
At last some more babies are here, great news.
Cannot believe how quick some of these labours are!! Hope you are all recovering and getting some rest?
Jasper is such a good little man, he seems to be waking once or twice a night on average which I am loving. DD woke so many times when she was a newborn and then we were struck down with jandice and colic. Its so nice to have a calm baby and to experience what other mums were talking about.
Anyway, more visitors due in a bit and I'm not dressed so better get in the shower and make myself look half decent .
Congratulations again to the new arrivals and to anyone new thats joined the thread....I am in agreement and think that a new thread should be started as this is far too long and I can't keep up.

zoezebra · 11/09/2005 10:42

Forgot to say, Good Luck Helenemjay for Monday x

beatie · 11/09/2005 10:54

bubbles2904 · 11/09/2005 10:56

congratulations to all that have had their babies, can't keep up these days
good luck mummyhill and everyone else in early stages.
such beautiful names for these babies
sorry, i've not been around, been very busy with mia, but she's so beautiful.

HelenEmjay · 11/09/2005 10:57

No we have no idea what we are having! we have 2 boys already and so a girl would be nice BUT of course we just want a happy healthy baby! im so excited but im now getting really nervous!!

Redhelen · 11/09/2005 11:33

Good morning - All the very best HelenEmjay.

Due date tomorrow!!! Think this little lady wants to be fashionably late though! Better go and see the mess dh & ds have made downstairs!

Boompi · 11/09/2005 13:20

Well done Franch - what a beautiful name! Goodness me that must have been a bit scary but I am pleased you didnt have to go into hospital for an induction.

KF - I made same mistake with buying size 2 and seem to be fine - if a wee bit big. Have bought size 1 now too though.

LL - sleep thing isnt too bad yet. Edie is feeding on demand every 2 to 3 hours and we actually have her in bed with us so I dont have to get up at night. I think this is helping. Nipples are quite sore - can def recommend Lanisoh cream though. Milk has arrived - huge boobs!(for me anyway)

jessysmummy · 11/09/2005 13:56

CONGRATULATIONS and WOW! to Franch
What a shock it was in the end, glad you didn't end up in hospital, though. Bet your bathroom will never seem the same again and you've probably made those ambulance men's week by letting them be involved in such an amazing thing.
Am very of all of you who have had their little ones. can't wait for my turn.
Best of luck Mummyhill, surely must be your turn next?!

zubb · 11/09/2005 16:35

Congratulations Franch
Ds2 was a bathroom floor baby as well - something to tell them when they get older!
Good luck for Monday Helenemjay.
40+3 now and getting bored....

LadyLazarus · 11/09/2005 16:36

Good luck to HelenEmJay for tomorrow! It's mine and RedHelen's due dates tomorrow as well, so you never know, we could be joining you

Redhelen · 11/09/2005 16:45

Hope so LadyL - getting really ratty now and wont my baby!! Getting ds ready for the birth now - he says Tuesday! and has filled the crib with his toys!!

Can't believe tomorrow is the 12th - it has seemed like an eternity! - but knowing me I'll look back at these last few weeks with great fondness afterwards!

Diane77 - how are you??

LadyLazarus · 11/09/2005 16:47

RH - have I just made this up, or did you once say that if you didn't give birth by the 12th they'd induce you? If so, when would that be?

singleteenagemum · 11/09/2005 17:04

Hi everyone,
Hello to all new babies....when's it gonig to me my turn?

Am sooooooooooooo bored, got nothing to do all week except mw appointment on wednesday, anyone any suggestions on what to do? Agree with you jessysmummy - nesting is non-existant...it;s sheer boredom!!!

Hope everyone's ok

mummyhill · 11/09/2005 17:38

I suppose I am lucky I don't have time to be bored wih DD around I just find it exhausting trying to entertain her all the time, fancy a swap? You can borrow my three year old and I will just chill out a bit

Redhelen · 11/09/2005 17:45

Lady L - they said they would do an internal on Tuesday morning - 13th to check progress so far and sweep if needbe. I think they will induce some days later. I have been told I will no be allowed to go over one week late because of c-section scar -having said that when my friend was over a week late - they didn't seem to worry - so I'll believe it when it happens!

Have strong desire to clean - so hoping this is a sign - yes a sign of me crying cleaning wolf again!!! bring on my 30 minute labour mother nature when ever your ready!!

Katts · 11/09/2005 17:46

STM, what's happened with the new man?

Congratulations Franch. I hope you are tucked up in bed being looked after with time to adjust to the speedy arrival.

LadyLazarus · 11/09/2005 18:02

Speaking of being late... my sister in law in Kosovo told me she had her son 25 days late!!! Don't think the NHS would let you get away with that

Redhelen · 11/09/2005 18:08

25 Days late - oh that sounds awful!

I was 14 days late with ds (my dates may well have been out) and that felt like a life sentance!

I think 9 months /40 weeks is plenty - now please leave via the nearest exit! (ohh!)

jessysmummy · 11/09/2005 18:11

Anyone heard anything from Piccadilly Circus? Hoping that she's just recovering from birthday celebrations and didn't have to share her birthday with bubba?
Still here mummyhill? Hoping you will have a Franch-like experience after all the build up you've had...well maybe not the bathroom floor but YKWIM.
And RH and LL hope tomorrow is your day along eith helenemjay.
STM - I totally share your boredom. Unfortunately, you, like me have still got a little while to go until we even hit our due dates...depressing, eh?

beatie · 11/09/2005 18:41

I'm 40+2 and bored too. I'm trying to plan something for everyday next week just so I don't spend everyday sitting around thinking about not having given birth yet.

I was induced early last time, so this is new territory and it makes me feel nervous. I get all geared up for the birth one minute and the next feel like it is never actually going to happen.

September 12th would be a lovely birth date. Come on baby - get a move on!

beatie · 11/09/2005 18:45

Do you know what's ironic? Following teo miscarriages last year, I spent the first part of this pregnancy checking my knickers all the time worried about finding blood. Now I spend the last part of my pregnancy checking my knickers and hoping for blood (a bloody show) The things we do!
