Carmen Rosalind Esme was born at 5.36pm on Sat 10 Sept, delivered in our bathroom by ambulance crew after a scary half-hour labour. 8lb 6oz (ow ) and beautiful.

All well - I'm a bit sore but beginning to emerge from the shock ... full story to follow at some point

Wonderful news Franch. So glad you got the birth you wanted. I had an elective c-section as Grace was breech, only discovered the day before she was born! And after experiencing natural labour (albeit induced) and a c-section, I would rater delivery naturally any day. Am finding it very restrictive now doing things that need doing around the house. No lifting, driving, etc. etc.
I loved your birth story, and hope to follow in your footsteps the next time around! Yes, I'm up for another asap!!! Little Gracie would love a brother, I'm sure!

DD, sorry to hear about your c-section but many congratulations on Grace (lovely name).

Thanks SB
