Sudden death of my nephew

My 26 year old nephew has just passed away following a charity boxing match last Saturday night which he took part in. He collapsed at the end and never regained consciousness. He was declared brain dead yesterday and donated his organs today.
As a family, we are so completely stunned by what has happened. We’ve never experienced anything so traumatic and dreadful.
His parents are absolutely beside themselves with grief and we just don’t know what to do. It’s awful 😢

i am so sorry for your loss, hubby is a huge Albion fan and if you get in touch with the club maybe they can pay a tribute to him at the next home match

Sorry for your loss OP. Many years ago I lost a close family member (same age as me) in very similar circumstances. The pain doesn't ever go away but you do make your peace with it eventually. It helps to talk about them as much as you can with people who care

I am so sorry to read this and so very sorry for your loss. I actually read about your nephew in the local paper this morning and I was discussing this with my daughters earlier. I live locally to him and he is so very young. RIP Dominic

Rest in peace to your gorgeous nephew. I lost a family member in similar circumstances and of a similar age to Dominic a few years ago and it's such a horrible, sickening thing when it's sudden like that. Just horrific. Sending love and prayers. x
