Talk to us on here, talk to people you have around you. Tell us about him if you want to. Breathe. Keep blinking. The seconds will pass. The time will come eventually when you can do minutes. It will come in time in waves. I can't imagine your anguish. I do know that the peaks will one day diminish, the agony will abate. Not soon, but it will.

How tragic and how unlucky he was that this happened. So many people do silly things but most of us get away with it. I can't imagine your pain but hope that somehow you can hold on to the fact that he was just a normal boy having fun and that he was just unlucky xx

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.

Thanks to each and every one of you for your kind words...I cannot imagine a lifetime without him in it all the things he would have done ...he was a self employed builder and proud of what he could do ...he was saving to buy a house so he could totally renovate it himself ...he had failed his driving test but was waiting for a cancellation...he just had so much to live for and this mistake he made has cost him his future...our future with him.

I feel like I can't cope with sorting his funeral I don't want to I shouldn't have to I'm his mum he should be burying me first !

Yes I have my daughter and my partner and rest of family but everyone is devastated and in total shock! He lived with his girlfriend and her family and they are all in bits too
