Can I just show my beautiful boy off please

I want to show him off, if that's ok.

Its been a long time since anyone but me has acknowledged him. Sorry the photos aren't too great, there were no camera phones in the 90s so I had to take a picture of a photo.

He would be 23 now, and as handsome as his little brother no doubt.

He was so beautiful, he was a skinny wee tall boy, all eyes and feet 😂 he was tiny but his eyes were huge and he had ginormous feet.

Everyone always said he has wise eyes, and an old soul. I really felt he was an old soul too.

He fought so hard through his illness, but he was taken from me anyway.

He was cremated in his green top and green socks, that was my favourite outfit on him.

He is still so loved and missed every day. I adored him, my first born, my precious baby boy, he changed my life, he made me a mum, he taught me what love is, and now that love has no place to go so it has turned to grief.

Such a loss, it is heartbreaking. I always think that people we have lost are somehow still alive in our hearts, still loved as much as ever.

What a gorgeous boy op!! I love his green top and sock combo and in the photo of him sleeping all in white he looks like the most perfect baby there's ever been. X

Oh thank you all so much. My ds came over so I've been distracted by cooking masses for him then having our angel cake. I'm going to have a little cry while I read all of your posts and then try and get some sleep, I just want the day to be over.

You have really made me feel like my beautiful boy has been seen today, I don't really get the chance to talk about him or show him off, and it really means so much that you have all allowed me to do this today. The few minutes that you've taken out of your life to acknowledge my wee cutie patootie Dotty 😂 has absolutely made a really rubbish day positive so thank you all from the bottom of my heart

I just took a few minutes to weep and hold my babies. I don't know what it feels like but it must be the worst and hardest thing in the world and it's not something a mother will ever forget but yes, the outside world just expects you to get on with it. I just lit a candle for your baby boy, who had to leave this world way too soon. I'm sending all the love there is. Continue to celebrate him, it's important.
