Lissie, after my mcs I channeled my angry into making sure I got the right tests and treatment. I would kick up as much fuss as possible. Perhaps ring liverpool and tell them your gp is refusing to refer and is there anything they can suggest. Even make a complaint against gp as you have a right to be refered, whatever you feel it takes to get it. Also try pals, I have never had exp with them but they supposed to be good. Hope you get somewhere

Lissie I have posted on other thread. I hope you are ok silly question really. I really agree if you can afford to have 1 private consultation it could get any treatment etc started quicker it was amazing when I went private how different things were. Usually you pay about £100 for initial consultation and then can be refered back to the nhs. It makes me so angry that you should have to pay to get the treatment you should have got ages ago.

Also agree with orange head PALS can be great. I have refered lots of my patients on to them and they have really helped and they should no all about all your rights etc.
