Our little boy has gone

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has lost their little one like we lost James. He died at the end of July at 5 1/2 months, he was born 3 1/2 months early. He was a little soldier who having been discharged from hospital at the end of May caught an infection in July and died. Its hard to talk to people about as I still don't know how to put into words how I feel and I guess I was just wondering if anyone can identify with how I feel?

I lost my little Toby on 1st Aug this year to pneumonia and a rare syndrome called Aicardi Goutieres syndrome that was found through his pm. He was 2 years 9 months. Through his life he had problems with dev but still came out smiling. It would have been his 3rd birthday on the 19th oct and we are thinking of what we can do. I have just started seeing a councillor and it is helping a great deal with everything in our lives, not just Tobys death. Hope you can find some comfort from James' things.

Thank you for your kind words Jbadgirl. I am so sorry that you lost your Toby. Life seems to go on but our lives will never be the same again.
James died on 26 July and altho it has got easier for me there are some terrible days where I just ache, today has been a better day and I have drawn strength from James' older brother who learnt today to blow kisses for the first time. (We have been blowing kisses to James today.)

Fi, jbadgirl, so sorry for your losses. I have never experienced the loss of a child I met (had a MC) and can only imagine how heartbreaking it is. My thoughts are with you and your families x
