Our little boy has gone

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has lost their little one like we lost James. He died at the end of July at 5 1/2 months, he was born 3 1/2 months early. He was a little soldier who having been discharged from hospital at the end of May caught an infection in July and died. Its hard to talk to people about as I still don't know how to put into words how I feel and I guess I was just wondering if anyone can identify with how I feel?

I am so very sorry, Fi. I wish I could say something to make this easier for you. You'll be in my thoughts.

Can understand your comment re counselling. Interesting how pain can be positive. Just keep an eye on it causing you problems.

Have you got lots of pictures of James? you'll remember so many things about him and the love you have for him will never fade.

we've got some great pictures of James, he was a real character even though he was soo small. He had a particular inquisitive expression when listening to what was going on around him, I will never forget that look. Strangely it is an expression his brother has now adopted.

Fi, so very sorry for your loss

1dilemma · 09/10/2007 23:36

oh Fi I am sorry there are so many things you have to link you to James, things will just creep up on you all of a sudden and it will feel like being slapped. You need people like Amyjade to come on she lost her dd1 at about 17 months I think her sister posts on here too. They are around and will see this soon I'm sure. Sadly there are others. Just keep bumping it up by posting on your own thread to move it up the messages. Have you tried the search for messages bit at the top?

Fi33 · 10/10/2007 20:36

I can't believe how many messages are on here.... thank you.
