Christmas stars for lost love ones

Every Christmas my church has a big christmas tree and a box of stars, that you wright the name of a missing loved one on and hang on the tree to be remembered in the christmas prayers.
I was wondering if we could have a mums net thread the same?
I know we miss our loved ones and friends all the time but at special times of the year the pain and memoreys are in out thoughts more.
Epecially for those lost over the reacent year.
So here goes. I will be remembering

Richard howard (died this year)
Jakie (died this year)
Roger Price (died this year)

My nan,(1994) My dad,(1984) My father in law (2001) and My best friend (1989)

Christmas in our house is a time of joy for our other two children but a time of deep heartache and unbelievable sadness that our first born daughter who would be 3 years old now will not be here to open her presents on christmas morning.

i will remeber- my son, born an angel 28/11/97 thinking of you robert john, my grampy john died 22/12/98, my grandad bob died easter 1997 and my old neighbour elsie died nov 2000

I know it's a very long time ago, but I wanted to remember my brother Richard, who died in 1971 at the age of ten...
and also my uncle,who died 11 years ago - still missed.

My lovely lovely Dad, who died of cancer, two weeks from diagnosis in 2000, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Our friend Hayley, died of cancer 8 weeks ago, leaving two beautiful young children, and lovely husband, you are missed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
All missed and loved and never forgotten.

Missing more than I believed possible, my mum who passed away 23rd December 2005, and my dad who passed away 9th January 2002.....

We will raise a glass (or two) in your memory, and try to create the great Christmas spirit for our DD that you both created for us.

My mum, died aged 59 on 15th October 2005. Missed by everyone who knew her.

Kimi this thread has made me cry so much but what a lovely idea. I am going to make a star for my own tree.
can I add a virtual * too, for my dad - so desparately missed - who died on the 13 June 2006.
