I know we mentioned having a "chat" thread as well, do you still fancy one or not ? I'd like to be on the original thread as well.

Im sure that we will have to meet up one day if we carry on like this!

DP wants an ipod-I have one and I love it. Going to get him a nano for about £99. I don't know what I want really...have done my shopping for friends and family though.

Can't wait to get the RM pay, and to be refunded for the clothes that I had to buy.

xx

lynneclynne · 13/11/2006 19:58

I know, thats so true edie!
That would be great, to meet up, i can't wait to sign in to mumsnet to see how you two are doing
Just got out the bath there, and couldn't stop thinking about jossie, so thought i'd sign in to see if she was around yet, but shes not (hope everything went well)
Well better go and get my bathrobe, i'll sign in again soon to see if either of you are around. xxx

edie123 · 13/11/2006 20:32

Just got out of bath and also thought of Josie...hope it went ok...

I bet we are not at all what we imagine IYSWIM. You sort of build up a mental pic of what you think that person is like/looks like but im probably way off the mark!

My cat is not too bad thankyou-she is on some steroids at the moment and will be starting her inhalers in two weeks. Ill have to work out how to put pictures on here then you can see how lovely she is.

Im on a late shift tomorrow xx

lynneclynne · 14/11/2006 20:14

Hi girls!
Jossie, i hope you are ok, im starting to worry, edie i know you are back shift, i wont catch up with you until sometime tomorrow, as im not long in and nackered!!So going to have an early night, the day has been hectic, we have manageing directors in store tomorrow so had to arrange things for them then had the hairdressers, so just had my dinner there. Well i hope you are both well.
Lynne xxx

Jossie · 14/11/2006 22:46

Sorry to worry you-I've not been on because I had to work an extra day today.
Last night probably had the best outcome I could have hoped for-there are no chromosonal probs, which is good as these can't be treated, except by IVF selection, which we wouldn't go through (did you see the Robert Winston programme on that tonight?), all the bloods came back fine apart from an issue with regard to blood clotting, which hasn't been researched, but could possibly cause m/c, there must be anecdotal evidence, or else why would they test for it? He strongly recommended that if I get pg I give myself daily injections of clexidene? to slightly thin my blood, to hopefully prevent it clotting through the placenta, as because there was a heartbeat at 8 weeks it is likely the m/c 2nd time may have been because of something my body did. So at least my other fear of there not being a possible sort of an answer has been slightly addressed. We are thinking about TTC from December, af came today, so think this ov is a bit too soon to get my head around it-so there we are. I was so worried going in to see him last night.
Anyway, by your desriptions, I am the largest lady here! I am 5'3", brown curly shoulder length hair with highlights.
Hope you are both ok, and little Edie, sorry I didn't let you know earlier

SO MUCH FOR MY EARLY NIGHT!! LOL

Jossie · 15/11/2006 09:46

Hiya,
I know what you mean Lynne-I was a size 8/10 when I met D?H, I'd just come out of college, having spent my time there living on fish finger sandwiches! Now I'm 4 stone heavier (That said, DH is much broader around the beam as well!)

OP posts:
Jossie · 15/11/2006 09:47

D?H-sorry meant D/h (I'm not doubting him!)

Girls, its been quiet on here the last couple of days, hasnt it??
Where have you both been and what have you been up to??
I had to start a new thread, about PLANTAR FACIITAS have either of you suffered this??
I have had this for the last three years on my left foot (you feel like a 90 year old when you get out the bed in the morn) and have to hold onto things as you are in so much pain, anyway, some girls replied to my post and were v,v helpful, so im pleased about that!
So, how have you both been??
I hope you are both well. All is well up here in sunny Scotland, we had a bit of snow earlier on, and is v,v cold outside.
I'll catch up with you both later xxx

edie123 · 17/11/2006 17:51

Hi girls,

Im fine thanks, been working quite hard, doing interviewing for new posts and I found it very tiring. Been absolutley knackered over past two days, think I may be coming down with something. Lynne I have never heard of that condition but it doesn't sound very nice.

Little Edie is doing quite well I think.

Glad to hear about the appointment Josie. Its good that they have come up with something thats easy to sort. You will get used to the injections although the thought of doing it yourself is a bit scary im sure!

Funny talking about sizes, before DP came along I was a six!! Probably a bit too skinny but did have a good body even if I do say so myself! But when we moved in together I put on loads of weight as he loves to make sure im eating properly all the time. (I wasn't very good at it before we got together).

Can't complain, it's lovely never doing the cooking!

Jossie · 17/11/2006 23:22

Hiya
I wondered where you had both gone-I looked in yesterday.
Lynne, haven't heard about that condition, sounds painful. Can't believe it snow for you already, I sound like a real softy southerner. A friend of mine from Biggar in Scotland always used to despair of us in the south when it came to snow.
Yes I'm sure I will get used to the inj, it's keeping the end goal in sight-have found out that a friend used these in her two successful pregnancies, lets hope they work for us, I'm trying not to put too much hope into this.
Feeling shattered, have been out to an NCT function, bye for now

poped in today to say af hasnt arrived
dont want to get worked up, just incase its late, although thats never ever happened to me before, usually arrives on the exact same hour too!!
I wasnt even thinking about being pg as dh was working away alot this month and was away the week i was ov, so we thought it was a no no for this month

I shall wait till tomorrow.
I am working tomorrow most of the day, so will fill you both in when i finish.

edie123 · 20/11/2006 17:10

Oh gosh Lynne fingers crossed! How exciting.

I have tonsilitis at the moment, I get it a lot. Got really bad back aswell and pains in my pelvis which have been getting worse through the day. Called in sick today which I hate doing but didn't get any sleep at all last night as I felt crap and at 3 in the morning realised that the paracetamol that I had been taking every 4 hours through the day had caffeine in. Great.

Want to go in for tomorrow but don't know if I will feel well enough.

!!!!!!!

Jossie · 20/11/2006 17:54

Hiya
Lynne, fingers crossed-I was reading on another thread yesterday about someone who got pg on day 8 of her cycle, so you never know!!
Edie-hope you are better soon-take care of yourself.
I've been really busy, DH was working all weekend, so was doing things with the boys and had a concert as well.
Have definately decided not to TTC this month, but will probably start next month, I'm really scared about what might happen! But if we don't try then we'll never know.
Should be on the computer later so will check in then

OP posts:
lynneclynne · 20/11/2006 19:29

Aw Edie, so sorry you are ill, i hope you are better soon. xxx

Jossie, things have been hectic for you the last week, you must be nackered!

Im still feeling v doubtfull, as this was the month we both decided it wouldnt happen, with dh work etc so i do have my doubts.
I found one of those pound shop pg tests, i bought it for last pg along with the clear blue but never used it, so did a few mins ago, one line if its neg and two lines you are pg,mines came up with one clear line a one not so clear (but clear enough to see) but im still not convinced, i mean how reliable can a pound pg test be???
I'll keep you both informed, just to let you both know....Im shimyself, keep going to the toilet every 2 mins to see if af arrived. Lynne xxx

Jossie · 20/11/2006 22:33

Wow Lynne that looks like a BFP to me!!
Won't congratulate you until you are more definate but I'm thinking it.
Fingers toes and everything crossed!

OP posts:
edie123 · 21/11/2006 10:02

OMG!!! Yes I agree with Josie that it sounds like a BFP to me. I think it always happens when you least expect it-think of people who are not actively trying-they are always shocked. Its only because on here we are all experts at doing it at the right time. When we slip one month we have no hope. IYSWIM. Bet you are...

edie123 · 21/11/2006 10:04

Im around today by the way as still feel rough (and feeling guilty about time off sick) so let me know Lynne...We want to be the first people you tell young lady only joking...

lynneclynne · 21/11/2006 16:28

Just done another test....it was positive, i cant believe it!!! Im in shock!!!!

Frizbe · 21/11/2006 16:29

nice to be able to say congrats

edie123 · 21/11/2006 16:31

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
