A good day I'd say, better than school!

What's the pizza doing? Flicking V signs at you when you open the oven door Grin

Mouseface · 07/06/2013 17:25

Trin -

Lovely lady, you have that pizza, enjoy it, make the most of the sunshine and the girls being outside. So what if you kept them off school, so what if you can't be arsed today? So what?

These next few weeks and months are going to be filled with days when you will feel like saying/screaming/yelling out loud 'FUCK IT'!

To the world outside of your sanctuary, to school, to getting up, getting out, eating, washing, doing the housework, moving from the sofa, etc......... you know that sweetheart, how I wish with all of my heart that you didn't feel like that. Sad

BUT, there are going to be days when you'll more than make up for that by kicking ass out of the housework, getting the girls to school, sorting the bills out, food shopping, mowing the lawn, sweeping the path/driveway, cleaning things up, showering, looking at yourself in a new, brighter light, something new maybe, because it feels right to do that, whatever 'that' may be.

You'll ebb and flow with the grief that you are enveloped in, you can't help it, no-one can pull you out of that..... only that old cliché time will ease the severity of how you feel on the down days.

May hay when the sun shines. And, when it pisses down, take solace in your sanctuary. :)

Have you managed to get your SW back on board? How are the 'practical' things?

Big hugs to you gorgeous xxx

Mouseface · 07/06/2013 20:24

'Make' hay - typo queen! Grin xxx

TrinityRhino · 07/06/2013 23:02

I've added a pic of the famous dead cow to my profile

OP posts:
BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 07/06/2013 23:16

Looks like quite a little cow :(

TrinityRhino · 07/06/2013 23:20

it was HUGE

or I thought it was anyway

but I've always thought cows are massive

it was a shame it was dead but dp wanted to eat it Hmm

OP posts:
BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 07/06/2013 23:23

And did you eat it?

TrinityRhino · 07/06/2013 23:31

no Grin

but I did start a thread about it
he wanted to know if anyone else would eat it

he decided in the end that it wasn't a good idea but he hated waste and loves all meat and all offal

and he ate roadkill so it wasn't totally out of the question for him

but he decided that it had been dead a while and with innards left in would be manky once cut open....ugh

OP posts:
BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/06/2013 00:19

Yeah, I'd heard about the thread.
I'd have been really tempted too, I love beef.
Would have been handy to have a tame butcher to hand who would know what it should look like.
I did consider training to be a butcher at one point Grin
Very briefly.

PacificDogwood · 08/06/2013 08:31

Trinity, I hope today will be a better day than yesterday was.
Good ol' rollercoaster of grief, eh? Bastard. (Grief, I mean)

Grin @ the cow story. For the record, I wouldn't have eaten it.

Living in a Minecraft addicted household as I do , I understand the TV problem however I'd be secretely pleased about it. See what's on Gumtree??

May the sun shine on you and yours today - it is here Smile.

MelodyBaker · 08/06/2013 12:56

I wouldn't have eaten the cow trin Grin. I hope today is better than yesterday. You'll have days when you can't be bothered and just want to scream but you'll get through it x

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/06/2013 13:56

Hope you have a sunny day.

fransmom · 08/06/2013 15:12

Hi Trin (((((huge hugs)))))) xxxxxxxxxxx

Mouseface · 08/06/2013 16:07

Hey Trin :)

Just checking in, I hope the weather up there is sunny and helping to keep your mood lifted sweetheart.

So, what do you have planned for the weekend? Anything or just see how your day pans out?

My DD has just gone off for her second sleepover or rather non-sleep-over of the weekend so she'll be utterly delightful tomorrow when she gets back Hmm Grin

How are things? How are the girls? How are YOU feeling at the moment? I mean really feeling?

Sending lots of love your way xxx

TrinityRhino · 08/06/2013 21:16

we had a much nicer day today than yesterday
a bbq at a friends house in the afternoon and dd1 has a friend over tonight
then I have friends coming over tomorrow to help with gardening, fencing and chicken pen fixing

feel a bit calmer today

OP posts:
IwishIwasmoreorganised · 08/06/2013 21:21

chicken pen fixing....... Is there no limit to your talents?

Glad to hear that you've felt a bit calmer today Trinity.

Xxx

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/06/2013 23:42

So pleased to hear that. Calm is good, actually the best.
How many chickens have you got?

WandaDoff · 09/06/2013 03:13

Gosh. that sounds lovely Grin

hope you can have a lovely relaxing bit of family time x Smile

tomorrow is meant to be another scorcher.

TrinityRhino · 09/06/2013 07:34

we only have 1 chicken left Sad
shes very lonely but I refuse to rescue more until I have bombproofed the pen.

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 09/06/2013 09:01

I have a friend who has rescued chickens - they certainly seem to develop characters of their own. Very sensible to fix the run though if you've had problems.

I hope you have another good day today.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 09/06/2013 09:53

Good plan, it's horrible when they get snaffled.

Sounds like a nice, productive day today.

We were planning a BBQ on the beach but the sun's gone!
