I have spoken to Spacecadet. Spacecadet went into premature labour several weeks ago due to a kidney infection. The baby only surived for a short time after birth . She is bearing up OK given the circumstances, but can't face up to posting on MN at the moment.

Best wishes to her and her family.

My heart goes out to you both at this horrid horrid time xxxx

Tabs · 20/12/2005 13:58

Oh Space - what a lot of big decisions to have had to reach at such a difficult time. Really hope that the move goes well, and that you and DH can find the strength to continue to support each other.

Huge hugs. xx

ebbie22 · 20/12/2005 14:02

Words cant explain the pain you must be feeling,my thoughts are with you xxxx

QueensSpeechEagle · 20/12/2005 14:13

Spacey, I have missed you on MN - I hope you feel able to come on here still once you have moved to find support should you need it. Again I am so so sorry for your terrible loss, life is so unfair. I'm glad you are getting some counselling - is dh able to talk to anyone too?

How are the kids taking it? You know I am sorry never to have met them (except your dd2 of course!) when we met in the summer. I hope one day we will all be able to meet up.

Good luck with the move, I hope you find peace sweetheart.

thankyou for all your kind thoughts.

myturn · 20/12/2005 18:30

Glad you feel you can start to talk about things SC. A certain Shropshire lass told me today she is looking forward very much to you moving closer to her. You have a lot of people who care about you very much.

santaslittleunicorn · 20/12/2005 18:31

SC you are obviously going through a huge amount of stress, don't make any decisions about your partnership at the moment.

Try and be kind to each other - you are both grieving deeply.

spacecadet · 20/12/2005 18:32

i can guess who that is myturn! yes im looking forward to moving up there, new start etc.

spacecadet · 20/12/2005 18:35

ive got to be honest and say i have really vented at dh, ive been horrible to him, he doesnt show his feelings much so i sometimes feel that he doesnt care as much, yet i know he must do, he is very frightened about the move as he will have to go in january and leave me behind, he thinks i will fall apart as i have to stay behind and sell the house, but its given me something really positive to focus on, it will be hard grieving and looking after 4 children without dh but it will only be for a few months.

monkeynutsroastingonanopenfire · 20/12/2005 19:25

I don't know what to say Spacecadet, I can't imagine your loss, yours too DesperateHousewife. My heart goes out to you both. Monkeytrousers xx.

So Sorry to hear your sad news SC my thoughts are with you and your family at yet another difficult time

bauble99 · 20/12/2005 19:45

Spacey. You were so kind to me after Bo died. I've never forgotten that. You're also a nurse (once a nurse, always a nurse!) and I've really enjoyed talking to you. I know that you know that there's nothing any of us can say......but we'll say it anyway and I hope we can give you some strength, in some way.
