Her dp's mum is gravely ill and likely to die quite soon.
MI has been such a magnificent friend and support to so many people on the site and via e-mail I hope she will not mind my posting this as I think it might help her to know we are thinking of her, dp and the Inferiorettes.

I just wanted to say to everyone who'd wished us well that she did, finally, die today.

I've said to a few people already that she was at home, in bed, without pain I think, and in the knowledge that she had raised four sons who loved her. On a day which commemorates the bloodstained stupidity of mass deaths, I think there are worse ways to die.
