Her dp's mum is gravely ill and likely to die quite soon.
MI has been such a magnificent friend and support to so many people on the site and via e-mail I hope she will not mind my posting this as I think it might help her to know we are thinking of her, dp and the Inferiorettes.

oh MI I'm so sorry to hear this. My dh's father died a year and a half ago and it was very difficult for all of us. xxx

Mmmm difficult time, day by day, day by day, been there. It makes life feel so very vivid and vital at the time though. I hope your MIL feels quite calm.

MI, I had no idea - so sorry . I'm there atm too - my Mum's best friend, my 'Auntie'...we're just waiting, she's in a hospice now. Haven't posted about it on MN 'cos it's too raw. But if emailing helps - you know where I am. Much love.

So sorry to hear this MI, this must be such a difficult time for you. I hope your MIL is not in pain and I wish you strength and courage to not only be a support to your DP, but for you to find some comfort from our thoughts in all of this. Take care.
