What insults do your toddlers use?

(assuming, of course, that they ever use insults.... dd didn't at that age but ds does).
Around here it is 'silly patch' to express mild dislike and 'poo poo patch' to express very great antipathy. Goodness knows where they get it from.

Brilliant, Blu!

Never heard anything more entertaining than 'Oh-bugger-ear-'oles' here.

MabelMay · 10/11/2009 17:18

my 3.8 yr old DS1 -

stinky
stinky bum-bum
stinky poo-poo

you get the picture...

Oh, and when he's frustrated:
"oh for goodness sake, you stinky etc etc" see above.

MaggieLaVoleuse · 10/11/2009 17:21

At the moment my nearly four year old only says "you are a silly billy" but when he is cross, there is so much finger-pointing and rage there, it's like he's a sorcerer casting a spell on ... mere words could never scare me as much.

littleducks · 10/11/2009 17:24

My 3 yr old says she will "put you in the bin then, so there" or says "I'm not your friend" or "Just go away then"

Apparently she also said calmly that her little bro was "pissing her off" which dh ignored but she has never said anything like that in front of me so im hoping he misheard

Lionstar · 10/11/2009 17:32

Since about 2.4yrs DD invented 'conk' as an insult. We have all the variants "you're a conk head", "it's conky" etc. We have no idea where it came from, but it does sound scarily like cock sometimes (not that we ever use that word as an insult!)

Kathyis12feethighandbites · 10/11/2009 17:46

Oh yes, I'd forgotten 'I'm not your friend' - dd used to say that. Also 'You can't come to my party.' (Mummy: I see. And which party is that then dd? The one for which I will be writing the invitations, shopping, cooking, buying the prizes, paying for....?')

"you're a meanie"

"mummy I am not your best friend ANY more"

MaMight · 10/11/2009 17:54

Mr / Mrs [fruit or vegetable of choice] head!

Kathyis12feethighandbites · 10/11/2009 18:22

dd 4.1 "well then you're called poo" or "well then you're called dead". When thinking more clearly says "well then you're called" pauses to hear me complain about it, "mummy"

llaregguy · 10/11/2009 18:49

My 3 year old DS calls things "rusty and smelly" when he decides he no longer likes them.

oopsandbabycoconut · 10/11/2009 18:50

I got 'I yot yike you mora' from my 3yo godson the other day

ihatemyjob · 10/11/2009 18:51

My 2.8 year old shouts "shut up" which is awful. (he has 7 year old big brother) He always does it as loud as possible and I only just stopped him doing it at the start of a school assembly.

waitingforbedtime · 10/11/2009 18:58

Ds (2.10) says 'my dont like you' or 'you is a meanie (pegs)' or 'you a silly fluffball' (from that awful show, bits n bobs)

waitingforbedtime · 10/11/2009 18:59

Oh and 'dont be ridiculous' alllllllllll the time

yama · 10/11/2009 19:00

Poopy still cracks my dd up.

sweetkitty · 10/11/2009 19:02

poo head

Head in general for everything

big bum

mankymummymoo · 10/11/2009 19:04

DS told me i was the "worstest mummy in the whole wide world" the other day .

However, he has also said that he wont be my friend, he wont speak to me ever, ever again.

and the worst is... well, if you wont let me do what i want to do then i will be very CROSS with you mummy !

chickbean · 10/11/2009 19:09

DS1 used "silly mummy" and "silly daddy" a lot - a result of watching too much Peppa Pig (though not as worrying a development for us northerners as him pronouncing castle "carstle").

MerryWifeOfWindsor · 10/11/2009 19:17

"Hmpf! You're not my best friend any more" and when grumpy "You not talking to me! Daddy talk to me/You not love me, Daddy love me" and vice versa depending who he randomly has the sulk with
Get called random things too like "HMPF! You... red arrow!" (RAF display team - a personal favourite)

MerryWifeOfWindsor · 10/11/2009 19:29

"You are a baddie!"

feedthegoat · 10/11/2009 19:33

Ds has been calling me a 'silly duffer' for a while if he thinks I'm being annoying or silly. No idea where he's got that from!

hazeyjane · 10/11/2009 19:36

'you noodle'

eg

'mummy you smell of poo'
'mummy's got a poo on her head'

etc etc

nowwearefour · 10/11/2009 19:42
