erections

Twice today my 2 1/2 year old son has (very loudly in the middle of a shopping centre) complained that his "willy is sore and won't go back down". Is this normal??????????
If anyone has any experience of this then I would really appreciate some advice. I know that erections are normal even in babies but should it hurt (he's never complained before)? Does it mean he will need to be circumcised? He doesn't look sore and when I asked him about it a bit later he said it was okay now.

Hmm think so
the more adult massagers are kept upstairs

You see, I don't mind my boy having erections, and all that stuff. Check out the teenage threads though ... it gets mucho worso

I want a strong, lusty lad. Who wouldn't?

I admit to being intrigued by willies. They look great fun and I'd like to have one for a day so I could play with it and wee through it

I'm also interested in the inheritance factor. DS has definitely got my brother's willy .. a meat willy, very long and impressive. And I absolutely love the total freedom that young children equate with their bodies.

My brother stopped by about six months ago when ds was naked (which is often). DS leapt on him, shoved his willy in his face and demanded that his uncle 'eat it.'

Gross (of course), but funny too. None of us can wait for his eighteenth, for obvious reasons

Well make sure they're under lock and key because I'm sure your ds will be looking everywhere for that shoulder massager now that he knows how much fun it is!!!!!!!!!!!

ds1 has never showed much interest in his willy.

Whereas ds2 (3) constantly has erections which he finds quite uncomfortable and is constantly playing with. I keep telling him that playing with his willy is something he should do in private, which has now resulted in him announcing to all that he's off to his bedroom to play with his willy because 'its big'. Apparently he does this at nursery too, he goes to the toilet for privacy. Do you all think this is the best tactic?

Ds (3yo) always has his hands down there, esp when tired or emotional. Have told him it's something he should only do at home, or when on his own, but like most males, this seems to have gone in one ear and out the other

PMSL when he told his dad in the bath one evening that he had a big willy and daddy had a little one.... DH had a complex for the next few days!

Not only boys have a willy obsession, my veg box chap didn't know what to say when dd(then 21mths) told him she had a willy. All willys have to be kept covered when she is around otherwise they get grabbed! Her chum who is the same age is just as bad

PMSL at this thread. Especially Pussycat Dolls - I think it was Legs and Co for me!

We grow out of it. Honest.

Hi dadada.
At what age exactly do you grow out of it? My husband is 27 and showing no signs of stopping anytime soon!

Well, they stop being quite such a thing of wonder and mystery. A bit like any love affair I suppose

is it possible to get too much of a good thing?

According to my DH (39) not in this case!

Oh God, this whole thread is exactly why I hope my baby isn't a boy! I just don't know what I'd do when he starts playing with his willy, I wouldn't know where to look!

lollipop, just don't! they discover it early on, and keep going and do it all the more if they suss it winds you up.

No safety in girls either, whenever I try to put a nappy on my dd it takes about 10 mins as she wriggles away to 'play with my wee-wee'

laughing out loud at this! DS is 2, adores his willy and does that thing of shoving a finger in the end and pushing the whole thing up... Nappy changes only completed by assuring him that a new nappy will keep willy safe and warm, and that willy is still there, you just can't see him. He's just gone back into popper-up vests under his pjs at night as we had 3 wet nights where he'd managed to shove his hands down his nappy, grab his willy and point it upwards. And wee right out of the top of his nappy...

I have loads of boys and there'll all crazy about their willies. DS1 says that he likes flying because when the plane takes off it makes his willy tickle . They have erections all the time - there's no way I'm letting them roam the house in their pants when they're teenagers

I have two dds so no willies here. My best friend has two dds too. Her dd2 found out quite early that sitting on the edge of a sofa and rocking back and forth creates a rather niiiiice sensation. She would go quite glassy eyed... even in company..

I won't even go into details of my eldest dd's explorations in this direction.....

don't ya love them???

oh yes, ds also has a thing about stretching his - usually to wind his dad up! He is quite well hung, so he can make it stretch halfway to his knees

GGG, wait til you start potty training! suddenly they discover how accessible it has become and their hands are always down there...

A friends little girl used to do the sofa hanging thing. One day we told her to come and have her lunch, she replied "I haven't finished yet"

DS (3.5) got down from playing on the cbeebies website earlier with a rather large erection & stood in front of us proudly displaying it, asking what had happened & frantically pushing it down. Some of DH's cup of tea came out of his nose as he frantically tried not to disguise the fact that he was p'ing himself laughing

Oh greeenglass I'd forgotten all about the weeing over the nappy phase, we had fun with that too!
My ds has been keen to talk about his "sticky-up willie" again today when I met up with an old school friend. Luckily she was amused (I was mortified). He also spent the 2 hours we were at another friends house with his hands down the front of his pants the whole time. Must buy him some tighter undies!!!!!!!
