Looking for unusual (but not weird!) girls names!

Currently 36 weeks with a 90% certain girl...

DS is called Benjamin, although we only ever call him Ben.

We wouldn't mind going a little bit more off-piste with DD's name though.

So far the only name we both really like is Keira / Kyra, but we feel we'd like to explore the full availability of what's out there!

Definitely don't want a Grace / Evie / Lily / Madison type name, and not at all keen on the retro olde-worlde names like Margaret / Esme / Bridget.

I'd love to be cheeky enough to take names from fantasy books I like, but not sure I could get away with it... Names like Danyal (would always end up being called Daniel though...) Arya, Raven, etc, but it needs to be a really good one!

Any ideas?

Raven is OK, but the others are too.... out there, for my taste.

What about Anya? (Although it's a potato variety!)

What about Ione, Lara, Coralie, Juno or Helena.

Or if you like Irish name Orla or Aoibheann (pronounced Eve-een).

on the Tolkein theme, how about Eowyn? It's less 'fantasy' than Galadriel (though that is a gorgeous name) and the character was feisty and brave

You can go too far, of course.

If you like Keira, but don't want all the Knightley associations, how about Kyria? Pronounced like the country Syria, comes from the Greek, means 'lady'.

I also have a soft spot for Kezia - lovely old-fashioned name. I know one or two nice ones.
