Harimad - fave character in a book - I really like 'Hari' for a girl, but think being called 'mad' is a bit cruel...

Clover - another book character, sounds a bit like a cow tho'.

Cinnamon is the frist that springs to mind; love it but could never use it

Summat - I too was about to say Tuesday. My mother says she briefly contemplated it when I was born as she has always liked it since she heard of Tuesday Weekes (actress). I have a very dull name, but I find I like Tuesday too.

I really liked Phoebe and Hebe but vetoed by DH. We seriously considered giving DD the second middle name of Marmalade. It is a lovely sounding word and worked really well with the rest of her name but in the end, decided it was far too silly really and smacked of 'celebrity naff kids name'. I still kind of regret this.... mad, I know.

Foxinsox2 · 13/05/2009 23:22

Wiggletastic, I think you should get a ginger cat immediately and call it Marmalade - it's an excellent name!

REally loved Genevieve, even thought DH might approve, as it is a film about a car! Also liked Midnight, Araminta, Merry (as in Merry Gentry if anyone knows the books) and Iolanthe.

Just thought of Antimony, it is an element on the periodic table, just thought it sounded lovely.......
