Hello. I am having a baby girl, due end of april. Our surname is Webb so would like something to go with it.

DH really likes Mia but I think it is a bit short to go with Webb?

I really like Madeline (how ever you spell it, will obviously check if we choose it), Matilda, Leyla/Leila.

Also came into conversation today was calling her April or May (depending on when she is born). I like it, but don't love it iyswim.

Not going to talk to family about names as they hated everything we liked last time and vice versa.

Love Mia and Matilda if that is any help

MrsMattie · 11/12/2008 15:37

Mia is lovely, so is Leila.

cyLENTeeNIGHT · 11/12/2008 15:38

miranda
violet

agree that mia (although lovely) is a bit short

chloejessmeg · 11/12/2008 15:44

Violet is nice, although not 100% on it and not sure it goes with my surname.

Still open for suggestions, we only found out today it is a girl!

Jessica is another I liked actually, a friend has just called her baby it (ex work colleague so not somebody I couldn't steal the name from as I don't even see her anymore). Will ask DH what he thinks of that later.

cyLENTeeNIGHT · 11/12/2008 16:02

susannah is actually the best name ever so i'm glad it's getting some love on here.

Lois?

Anna8888 · 11/12/2008 16:24

I love Susannah (one of my cousins is called this) and Jessamy was a name I would have loved to have given my DD, but it doesn't work in French.

scorpio1 · 11/12/2008 16:25

i am still at dh for not 'allowing' it as a first name!

NowICanSpellGeansaiNollaig · 11/12/2008 16:38

Susannah with Susie for short would be lovely and would go really well with Webb.
