But how can anyone know everyone's names and children's names on such a big talkboard? I think it's perfectly fine to say 'I don't like the name Winifred' or whatever. How can you possibly know if someone else's child is called it? Should nobody ever express an opinion on a name in case someone else's darling baby is called that?

I don't get why anyone cares so much, I really don't.

I think this might be as interesting as 'post your top 5 names' which I have enjoyed reading, if people weren't taking it so personally.
