Theo is my favourite -my ds' name

blowsy · 19/08/2008 10:52

Like all those names, but Max and Henry are sooo common (round these parts anyway).

Arthur, love it. Primus? Duke? Noooo!

wellbalanced · 19/08/2008 10:53

Theo or Henry for me.

OLIVIASMAMA · 19/08/2008 10:58

Arthur is lovely too - my absolute favourite is Hector, although I'd have a battle on my hands as DH really doesn't like it.

loobylu3 · 19/08/2008 22:16

Not sure about Hector either I'm afraid!

Oh go on - I don't think I'm going to ever get a boy

sleepyhead3 · 28/08/2008 19:17

Love Theo- great name!!
Also like Rufus.

dinkymum · 28/08/2008 20:47

i have nephews Max and Theo so i'm probably biased

dinkymum · 28/08/2008 20:51

I really like Arthur, if I have a DS id really like to have that as a contender it was my dads name, he died 6 years ago so V. special to me! but think I may a battle on my hands with DH about it though he is sooooo fussy with names to the point he doesnt like ANY boy names! lol

sleepyhead3 · 29/08/2008 15:07

Was trying to think of more names you might like.
How about:

Oscar
Jude
Tobias
Felix
Fergus
Conrad

Let me know what you think!

PinkyDinkyDooToo · 29/08/2008 20:35

Theo, Rufud and Jonah are all lovely

PinkyDinkyDooToo · 29/08/2008 20:37

Rufus, obviously

Also from Sleepys suggestions I like Felix and Oscar

Janni · 29/08/2008 20:43

From your list I would choose Jonas or Jonah but would also suggest Jude and Joel as I like 'J' names

cherrieberry · 29/08/2008 20:56

like rufus and jonas but there a new boy band called jonas brother that r everywhere on kids t.v at mo,so may become popular.x

loobylu3 · 29/08/2008 22:04

Thanks v much for that CherryB. I haven't heard of Jonas Brother so handy to know!

Thanks a lot for suggestions Sleepy. Out of that list I like Oscar and Felix.

Jonah reminds me of the saying 'jonah no mates....complete jonah' (loner)....etc!

Felix will always be a cats name imo

Hector will always be a cartoon dog in my mind aswell

Conrad is....well footballers wives of course!!!

Oscar is nice tho

dizzydixies · 29/08/2008 22:30

jonah and rufus but Rufus wins for me

dizzydixies · 29/08/2008 22:31

I like Arthur too nn Art

what about Hugo? thats fab

MerryMarigold · 29/08/2008 22:53

Theo or Jonah definitely. I would like both for my ds but neither go with surname (starts with a vowel).

WickedBitchoftheEast · 29/08/2008 23:38

Henry is nice, the rest are awful.

AnnaCliff · 31/08/2008 11:58

Rufus and Maxim. Please no more Theos!

loobylu3 · 31/08/2008 21:01

Do people know a lot of boys called Theo? There are hardly any here.
Where are they all living!?

LittlePushka · 31/08/2008 21:06

Montgomery ( Monty for short)
MARVELLOUS!!!

Such a noble name for a chap!

AnnaCliff · 31/08/2008 22:27

Theo is very popular, and becoming much more so.

3xyummymummy · 01/09/2008 21:58

I love Jonah and Jonas, both mean dove or peace I think. Our third is a Josiah. Happy choosing.
