Emmeline shorted to Emmy?

Hi,

My nine year old daughter is called Emmeline (pronounced "Emm-eh-leen"). It was my idea to christen her that. I just think it's a beautiful name - naturally!.

We shorten it to Emmie.

Occasionally people confuse her name with Emma or Emily, but they're easily put right.

I love this pretty, unusual name. I've often wondered if it would ever become more popular!

A lady on my ante-natal thread just called her LO Emmeline. Very pretty name IMO.
