Need a middle name for Avaley to match her sisters

Hey, so I already have triplet girls who are about to turn 4, and I am currently pregnant again! With twins... so aside from being terrified for that(5 kids is a lot!!) I need help with one of my baby names. The twins are both girls, and we have a name for the first one, Emryn Brielle, and the second one we have the name Avaley picked out, but I can't find any middle names I really love with it. All the other girls have middle names, so I feel like she needs one too! I also want to go well with Emryn Brielle, and the triplets are Wren Eloise, Tatum Rae, and Kit Willow, so I would like it to fit well with the others. There aren't any family names to use because I used my family names on Eloise, Rae, and Kit. Also want to know what you think of all my girls' names because I have gotten mixed reviews in the past! Thanks!

Emryn Jimberleigh and Avaley Balonzilla are perfect.

Absolutely beautiful names! Might I suggest Waynetta too?

NamingNoNames · 13/05/2026 14:05

The next pregnancy will be quads. Waynetta, Spudulika, Viennella and Twizzelle.

AgnesMcDoo · 13/05/2026 14:13

No one ever remembers middle names. It really doesn’t matter just pick names you like cause you are the only one who will know what it is.

steppemum · 13/05/2026 14:23

Emryn Brielle is ..... very much not my taste.
Emryn feels like it is missing as vowel. Emrys for a boy is fab.

Avaley - I am not sure why people are having so much trouble pronouncing it, as Ava is a perfectly ordinary name. So I would say Ava Lee. But I am not keen.

Your naming style is obviously different to mine, but Eloise, Wren, Kit and Willow are all nice enough.
Kit is usually short for Christopher though, so I would have assumed a boy.

Kit Willow

Just as well no-one knows their Gilbert and Sullivan any more.

This was my first thought!

Mikado would be a good name for a girl.

FoxtrotOscarFoxtrotOscar · 13/05/2026 14:40

Well, they are certainly unforgettable.

YouHaveAnArse · 13/05/2026 14:47

Averley is setting her up for a lifetime of correcting pronunciation and spelling - as someone with a more traditional (but slightly unusual) name with variants, I can tell you this is a complete pain in the arse, especially when it's on things like bills. Even something like Avalon would be better.

It also has strong "Mormon mommy blogger" vibes but that's just personal taste I guess.

Novel approach op

Well done

JeopardyLeopardy · 13/05/2026 15:03

Why do you want opinions on the names of your existing children?

violetcuriosity · 13/05/2026 15:09

Avaley Nicole if I had to pick a name to match Emryn Brielle.

Avaley is a bit complicated!
I can’t say I like Emryn; it sounds like a boys name to me.

I really like the vibe of the triplet’s names.

How about
Lindis Evana
Amber Lois
Iris Maeve
Cara Demelza

Emryn is pretty set but we are still looking a little bit at other names instead of Avaley. Iris was on our list, and Maeve was too!

Avaley isn't a name. It's just a collection of letters that people won't know how to pronounce. Does it rhyme with Waverley? If so, you could at least spell it Averley if you really need to use it. I don't love Emryn or Brielle but at least Emryn is a real name and middle names don't matter much.
Instead of Avaley what about Aubrey? It's a nice unisex name that matches quite well with Emryn.

I agree it is somewhat difficult to pronounce! It was my husband's pick, and I chose Emryn. We have been suggested Aubrey, and I really like it, but unfortunately, my name is Audrey, so I don't think it will work.

Emryn’s ok, but Avaley sounds a bit like you meant Avery but got confused. Why not go with Avery?

I have no idea how to pronounce either of those names. Brie like cheese? Bri like brian?
Aveley to rhyme with have a lee? Or waverly like the station?
are you American?

Brielle is like Brie cheese. I've met several people named Brielle or Briella, so I don't think that is hard to pronounce. Avaley with a lee sound at the end. Yes, I'm American, but only 2nd generation. I grew up and currently live on a farm in northern Ohio but spent every summer in Italy until I was 15.

I like Kit Willow!
How about Pitti Sing?

SisterTeatime · 13/05/2026 21:04

Avaley reads like a brand of margarine.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/05/2026 21:29

Aveley Nyra.

Aveley Jade

Avaley Skye.

Aveley Madison

Aveley Coral

DisplayPurposesOnly · 13/05/2026 07:21

Split Avaley into Ava Leigh - one first, one middle, job done.

I think this is perhaps a really good suggestion op, though I'd personally go with the spelling Eva Lee, because some of the leigh spellings are a bit too "Kimberleigh" yoonique.

That was my immediate thought. One of the more charitable ones....

So Avaley is Av a lee? Not Ava lee? I don't like the hard A sound at all I'm afraid.

I had the same one.
And it wasn't terribly charitable, either.
