Need a middle name for Avaley to match her sisters

Hey, so I already have triplet girls who are about to turn 4, and I am currently pregnant again! With twins... so aside from being terrified for that(5 kids is a lot!!) I need help with one of my baby names. The twins are both girls, and we have a name for the first one, Emryn Brielle, and the second one we have the name Avaley picked out, but I can't find any middle names I really love with it. All the other girls have middle names, so I feel like she needs one too! I also want to go well with Emryn Brielle, and the triplets are Wren Eloise, Tatum Rae, and Kit Willow, so I would like it to fit well with the others. There aren't any family names to use because I used my family names on Eloise, Rae, and Kit. Also want to know what you think of all my girls' names because I have gotten mixed reviews in the past! Thanks!

This reminds me of the girl whose parents called her ABCDE, pronounced Abcity. They were up in arms because an employee of an airline apparently sniggered upon seeing the name. Even Abcity isn't a name. It sounds like a disease.

That never happened 😆

Suggest you Google it.

It does seem to be true! They're American, and the pronunciation is described as "Absidee". Which I guess is indeed Abcity in an American accent!

RoseField1 · 13/05/2026 09:09

Haha ok I'm sorry I assumed it was a La-a situation!

Chersfrozenface · 13/05/2026 09:11

Re Abcde, here's the BBC story about Southwest Airlines.

Business Insider gives numbers of the name since it appeared in 1990 up to 2018.
There's a link to the US Social Security list of names as a reliable source but I CBA to open the zip files so I'll rely on BI.

Goodness, what names!

CieloElmers · 13/05/2026 09:15

You won’t get many good responses to your names on MN OP, they seems to only like “traditional” names or ridiculous “posh” names, but also names that aren’t to common but also not to out there 🙄

If you are going with Avaley, I’d stick to something simple like Rose

bellventrico · 13/05/2026 09:16

They sound like made up names but quite pretty.
Aveley wren was my immediate thought
Also like Aveley Autumn and plain Aveley Ann

Purplecatshopaholic · 13/05/2026 09:18

Five girls! Please don’t call any of them Avaley. Is it a made up name? Could you go with either Ava, or Leigh?

Lins77 · 13/05/2026 09:35

Even on here with the name in front of them people are getting it wrong - several saying "Aveley" when you have spelt it "Avaley". I don't think people will be able to spell or pronounce it.

Avery or Ava-Leigh perhaps?

PinkTonic · 13/05/2026 09:38

Gosh, we’ll expect to see you in the media due to the profound rarity of these events occurring back to back, so I think it’s sensible to check the name ideas with a section of the public as you’re doing.

Idlewilder · 13/05/2026 09:40

Were you bored, OP?

Jacopo · 13/05/2026 09:42

You cannot be serious.

Lins77 · 13/05/2026 09:57

On reflection, I have my doubts about this whole post. Are you still out there, OP?

PumpkinsAndCoconuts · 13/05/2026 10:33

Congratulations!

Avaley truly doesn’t seem like a name to me. How is that pronounced? A valey? A-va-lee? I really would not choose Avaley.

How about Ava or Ada?
Aubrey, Briar, Adeline, Gwen, Evie, Effie, Noelle, Heidi or Arielle?

Emryn is a unisex Welsh name.

It's not.

HelenaWilson · 13/05/2026 12:56

Kit Willow

Just as well no-one knows their Gilbert and Sullivan any more.

it did give me an ear worm, and was what tipped it into not being realistic. There's no accounting for bad taste, but that leapt over the line like a salmon.

user1492757084 · 13/05/2026 13:25

Wren Eloise, Tatum Rae, Kit Willow and sisters ..
Not keen on Emrym Brielle or Avaley, sorry.

Brielle Ember
Amber Brielle
Brielle Fern

and

Emma Verity
Vera Skye
Amal Fern

Pricelessadvice · 13/05/2026 13:29

I actually quite like Avaley. In my head I’m pronouncing it Avverley, is that correct or is it more Ayverley?

Tatum is awful though, sorry.

Maybe Avaley Jean or Avaley Jane?

Sunisgettinganewhaton · 13/05/2026 13:31

What about Everly or Amber?

Puppyyikes · 13/05/2026 13:37

Are you American?

congratulations on your pregnancy and hoping all goes well.

ClearFruit · 13/05/2026 13:46

This is a wind up.

NamingNoNames · 13/05/2026 13:52

Emryn Jimberleigh and Avaley Balonzilla are perfect.
