Tabitha or Paloma?

I have two daughters: Matilda & Jemima.

Which of these names would you name their baby sister who is due later this year? Both names go well with our surname.

Matilda, Jemima & Tabitha

or

Matilda, Jemima & Paloma

Struggling for nicknames for Paloma, but have lots for Tabitha. Our daughters are called by their full names by our/ their friends. Although Matilda does get Tilda/Tildy at home and Jemima gets Jemi/Jem.

Any other suggestions? We would like another 3 syllable name that ends in ‘a’.

I really love our daughter’s name combinations (Matilda Clementine and Jemima Primrose) and I'm finding it really tricky to find the perfect combination this time.

I liked Tabitha Posy.

It also loosely fits the fruit and flower theme without being too heavily so, like Marigold.

I think Tabitha Florence sounds a bit heavy - two big, consonant-heavy, substantial names. Posy balances it better.

Love Tabitha Marigold! And Tabitha Juliet and Tabitha Frances. Also this is maybe too out there but I love the idea of Tabitha Lettice! With the Victorian girls name spelling not Lettuce. I’m sure everyone on Mumsnet hates Lettice though!

Well I definitely don't like Lettice with sibling middle name Clementine. Its sounding like a fruit and veg shop.

Nest someone will suggest Watermelon or Carrot.

My name is a fruit name so I might be biased! I suggested some others if Lettice is too much!

I think its fine on its own, it's just that with a sibling Clementine and another Primrose it is sounding a bit "farm shop" to add a third flower, fruit or veg!

I have an 11yr old Delilah and Jemima, Tabitha, Tallulah and Dororthy were on my list. Lovely names but dont think Paloma fits x

Tricky to pick just one as they are beautiful combinations - Tabitha Marigold was my initial thought when you originally posted but I think Tabitha Honey is delightful!

Tabitha Posy and Tabitha Sylvie are fab.
I think I prefer Posy.
