Conservative but out there boy name?!

So, I’m having a boy. Names-wise, I.Did.Not.Prepare.For.This.

For a girl, I would have punted Céline, Margot, Audrey, Vivienne (Vivi), Anaïs, Genevieve, Bridget etc to DH.

My own name is rare but not a weird name, so I’ve always liked that - people have heard of it, but don’t necessarily know someone else with it.

I’d like a name that was strong, a bit zhuzh-y with a sprinkle of eccentric but also fine for a CEO to be called! Does it exist?

This is our first. We have a double-barrelled aggregate four syllable surname, but I’d pick a vanilla-ish middle name so the whole name wasn’t totally nuts.

I'm getting strong Georgette Heyer vibes from your wishlist, so here's a link to a list of her rakish Regency heroes: https://www.georgette-heyer.com/heros.html My favourites:

I moved to a country where this is a top baby name and after my initial WTF I think it's great

Ok. Interesting goal.
Boris it is.

He’s a lot cunty!

I thought this too, but what’s the nickname?

I have a friend named Inigo. He gets ‘Ini’ for short. He is in no way cunty tho, he’s super genuine and kind. I think the name is more boho than you are looking for.

I think my taste is similar. Apparently I pick names that would be perfect for landowners but less so if they are potentially going to end up as a tradesman.

My grandson was born in Tasmania and was named Abel after Abel Tasman the eponym of Tasmania. He’s only 8 but loves telling the story about his name.
I have only met one other adult Abel.
I also know a Keir which I love

So far I really like Peregrine and Constantine.
