Love Allegra. Beautiful name.

Ottilie is ok. A bit too dainty for my liking.

Not keen on Isadora or Olympia (‘Limpy’).

Allegra is pretty and my favourite, but she would certainly be called Allie so only if you like that abbreviation. Isadora just makes me think of Dora the explorer.

Gosh some of these comments are quite cruel. Perhaps if people knew you are naming a horse, not a child, they'd feel differently?

I like Dora. I think Ottilie is an awful name, why not just call her Tilly, which is lovely. Olympia and Allegra… well, would you have enjoyed going through school called anything like that?

Isadora is lovely, although my first thought was Isadora Duncan who met rather a sad end. If you're not keen on Issy, Sadie is a less commonly used diminutive.

None of them...ever. Allegra is a pizza place. Olympia is a stadium and Isadora is a perfume. Ottilie...just no.

I love Gertrude , but there’s Gerty or Trudy, which I don’t love

Allegra, Olympia, are all kind of 1980’s 90’s actress or film characters.

Allegra makes me think of someone getting tangled up in their tights, or a fungal rash.

Ottilie is quite sweet though I wouldn’t use it myself. It does sound like utterly.
