Surname of Moon - Please vote!

My DP and I are expecting our first, surname will be his of Moon, which I absolutely love (didn't take my ex H surname for what I claimed were feminist reasons at the time but it was made easier cos his surname was complete shite)

Anyway as much as I love the surname I'm finding it can tend to make an otherwise 'normal' name come across more hippy dippy, not necessarily a bad thing but wanted to run by the mumsnet clan our shortlist:

Theodore 'Teddy' Moon
Rupert Moon
Jasper Moon
Felix Moon

For a girl the only one we really like and agree on is Matilda Moon.

There all nice but I really like how Matilda Moon has the initials MM - are there any boys names you like that start with an M (Mason, Mitchell etc). I would avoid Felix as I think Felix Moon sounds like a night time cat food

I was a bit disappointed that the options weren't Daphne, Honey, Blue or Harvest.

Rupert Moon, becomes Roo Moon, which gets sung to the tune of Blue Moon.

I like Teddy, but prefer Edward for this over Theodore

I like Jasper and Felix best but a pp is right. Jasper Moon is a bit new age crystal gazing! What about Julius?

Teddy and Rupert are too twee and babyish.

Matilda Moon is nice, I quite like alliterative names. Just wondering about Stella or Astrid, then it could be a moon and stars name.

Harvey Moon's mother is named Violet in Shine On Harvey Moon, excellent show, I watch it all the time.
I also have a very close relative whose surname after she was adopted is Moon, it goes with practically anything.

I discovered several Matildas in my family tree, and will try to force my daughters to use it! Especially if they double barrel surnames. And their surname isn't that different to Moon.
I'd have changed my surname if dh was a Moon.
