Frederick (Freddie)

Edward (Eddie)

Johnathan (Johnnie)

Andrew (Andy)

We had totally decided on Callum - but DH has decided it's too popular but his alternatives are Thor and Randy

Johnathan (or even just the Nathan part).

MargaretMountford · 02/05/2008 17:26

Freddie or Edward, shortened to Ed or Ned
Johnathan with an h looks clumsy
Andy is a bit old bloke

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/05/2008 17:27

Oh, and that's 4 not 3 btw .

keevamum · 02/05/2008 17:27

Frederick.

It's the pregnancy hormones!

I swear half (if not MUCH more!) of my brain is currently 'otherwise engaged'

Jonathan

Psychomum5 · 02/05/2008 17:31

I like edward, eddie.

Posey · 02/05/2008 17:31

Any except Andy, and agree with Margaret Mountford that the h needs to go from Johnathan.
Also love Ned and Ted for Edward so you've got a lot of choice with Edward.

collision · 02/05/2008 17:32

Freddie

Do not like Andy or Eddie or Johnny at all.

Freddie works through his life.

What about Ned as a shortening for Edward?

And do the test.......

Blu · 02/05/2008 17:32

Freddie

janeite · 02/05/2008 17:34

I like Edward but not Eddie.

jivegirl · 02/05/2008 17:35

Frederick.

Agree with the other posters - Jonathan is spelt without an 'h', John is spelt with! (my partner is a Jonathan and my brother is a John lol)

lizandlulu · 02/05/2008 17:44

I love Freddie but I am biased as DS is Freddie.

I also like Edward(Eddie)

SlartyBartFast · 02/05/2008 17:48

do they have to be shortened???

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/05/2008 17:49

I knew something looked odd about Johnathan. Agree that it is better without the h.

smoggie · 02/05/2008 17:55

Freddie or Edward

pointydog · 02/05/2008 17:55

Frederick (Freddie) - don't like it. A bit Fauntleroy these days.

Edward (Eddie) - I like Ed/Eddie. Edward ok for birth certificate.

Johnathan (Johnnie) - I like Johnny, despite rubbery connotations. But much prefer John over Johnathan

Andrew (Andy) - Not a fave, ok

belgo · 02/05/2008 17:57

all nice. favourite is Edward

Edward (but not Eddie!) is nice enough
Frederick is ok
I don't like Jonathon or Andrew

What about George, Harry, Adam or Samuel?
