Thoughts on the name Xavier (UK)

Thoughts on the name Xavier for baby boy. Please be really honest. If you do or don't like it please explain why as would be helpful.

My French ex BIL was Xavier. Everyone in France pronounced it "Gzavieh" with a light g sound.

It's beautiful, I've met several but I prefer the Spanish Javier (Javi). nicer short form

I love this name. Would also think it's a Catholic family but that wouldn't put me off at all.
