And definitely an 'oo' sound, not the 'o' of 'lord'.

Given that both of your attempts to write it down phonetically are very wrong, don't you think a different name in a language you speak might be a better idea?

I'd pronounce it like half way between "lord" and "lure". So sort of like lurds. It would be a stab in the dark.

I'd be attempting it tentatively and would manage fine if corrected to either of the pronunciations mentioned.

"Lordez" came into American English via the Spanish pronunciation.
