Tilly Kate?

My DH and I have settled on Tilly for our little girl.

My Nan and Grandad raised me and I miss them both dearly, my Nan's name was Cathleen however my Gramps called her "his Kate" so o was thinking of Tilly Kate as a nod to them both.

Do you think it goes?

Tilly is a bit, well silly to me esp for a grown woman!

I do however love Kate!

matilda for a formal name, but have her go by tilly?

Thanks everyone.

I know a 24 year old named Tilly.

We are going with Tilly Isabella Cathleen.

No, it doesn’t sound right. And both nicknames together are far too saccharine.

Tilly Isabella Cathleen is really nice, OP. Merry Christmas! 🎄

I like both names individually, but together they sound like a character from a Catherine Cookson novel.

That's a lovely name OP.

Tilly isn't 'silly' at all. It was our second name in line for DD but we changed last minute.

Tilly Isabella sound gorgeous together!
