Old man names have made a big come back though so it’s not easy to tell.
My 100 year old grandad was called Eric. Along with several of his friends.
Nobody my age is called Eric. But there are plenty of toddler Erics.
For me, Ralph. Jeremy, Brian, Peter, Paul, Stuart, Adrian…

ShadowPuppets · 19/11/2022 19:52

I have a Wilfred and there are 2 others in the nursery he’s going to so I agree, the older fashioned names are the modern ones now!

I haven’t heard of any Richards, Alans, Brians, etc in the current crop of babies/toddlers…

Smartiepants79 · 19/11/2022 19:53

Simon, Michael, Ronald, Neville.
Norman.
Dennis.
Colin.
Mark- haven’t ever had a Mark in 15 years of teaching.
