Denver & Dallas for twins

I am 31 weeks pregnant and my husband keeps insisting on the names Denver and Dallas for our identical twin girls. He told his entire family (without my knowledge) that it was the names WE picked. Personally I find it ridiculous.

My favorite names are Aurora and Elisa or Lola and Helena.

What do you think ?

Btw I am American and he is British. I am from Chicago, Illinois. So far away from Denver,Colorado or Dallas, Texas.

If you find it ridiculous then it doesn’t matter what anyone else here thinks. Baby names are a two yeses, one no deal. I’m not a fan and I think the fact that your American makes it seem dafter to me.

No one on mumsnet will like these names because everyone on here seems to like the classics but i actually like Denver and Dallas separately but not as a sibset

I think of the film Alien when I hear the name Dallas as that was the captain’s name. And he was a man.
