Anyone with/knows an Amelia - what are her nicknames?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently pregnant with baby #2 and playing around with names. I don't know the gender yet. Boys names come easily to me, but really struggling with girls names.

I do really love Amelia - but I feel pretty much everyone will shorten it. For any parents of an Amelia - or know someone with that name - what do you call them? I've heard of Amy and Lia (Leah) mostly as nicknames.
Do people confuse her nickname for her actual name?

(I would call my daughter Amy or Leah and avoid this issue, but we already know people/have family with these names so can't)

I know two amelias and they're both known as Milly.

Millie. And yes, I did think it was her actual name for many months!

I knew an Amelia as a teenager and we never shortened her name, or had a nickname. I never heard anyone else use one either. Probably not helpful!

she seems to answer to it but everyone else (bar me) call her Amelia

The Amelia in our street is called Emmy. She's never called Amelia, which is such a shame.

I have one she is very much Amelia, I used to shorten it to Mia but she doesn't like it so have stopped.
