Rosa and Eliza are pretty and classic...I like Lola but It doesn't pass the doctor/lawyer test in my head..I love Lola's theme as a song and I know a dog called it maybe it's affecting my judgement??

Caramelcap · 28/03/2022 21:07

They are all really popular options. I love the name Amber, I'd choose this is a first name out of your list.

Names no one can argue with seems to be your vibe - nothing wrong with that as long as you know someone will argue with anything you choose! They seem very of the moment names, nothing wrong with that either.

Watch the surname/initials especially with a vowel middle name eg MAD or LAY or GOB

Names you might like, possibly:

Harriet (if you liked Charlie how about Harri or Hattie?)
Everly
Bethany
Daphne
Fern
Bryony
Mara
Anna
Saffron (saffy?)
Isadora/Dora
Bea/Beatrice/Beatrix
Marie

You're right that's defo my vibe, think I need to try and move away from that if I can!! I absolutely love Harri (not sure I'm keen on Harriet but could warm to it) same with Dora. Thank you so much

Ooh I like the way that sounds! Re your other comment, Alicia is beautiful but do worry people would constantly pronounce it wrong..

Really starting to love Eliza. Hmm I do understand what you're saying about Lola..

Eliza is a very nice name, feminine without being girly girly.

Marty13 · 31/03/2022 03:00

If you love Emily then what about Amelia or Amalia ?

Other names I love would be Alanna, Octavia, Theodora.

I also got the feeling that you like unisex nicknames, if so what about Andrea (Andy), Alexandra (Alex), Ariana (Ari), Josephine (Joey), Auriane (Ori), Nicola (Nicky).

Marty13 · 31/03/2022 03:00

Ellie also is nice

unsurereallyx1 · 31/03/2022 13:38

I think we have decided on Eliza Ann or Layla Ann - Ann being a family middle name so decided on this :)
What do we think?

OP posts:
cptartapp · 31/03/2022 19:37

Eliza is much much nicer.
I know an Eliza whose sister is Verity, which is also pretty.

ozzyfroggy · 31/03/2022 21:53

Eliza is great Grin. Miles ahead your other suggestions.

I was going to suggest Jessica.
