Eloise is pretty and you could shorten to Ella/Ellie - prettier than Eleanor.

Have you thought about Helena - classic and pretty.

canyoubelievethat · 27/03/2022 18:08

I like Layla and Ella from your list and Daisy is my favourite of your middle names.

17caterpillars1mouse · 27/03/2022 18:16

My favourite on your list is Olive

From the first name list though I'd choose either Ella, Ava or Olivia

My least favourites are Leia and Layla

PierresPotato · 27/03/2022 18:36

Lyra
Nina

HiKelsey · 27/03/2022 18:37

Funnily enough only one family member calls her Izzy. I was very specific she should learn her name first. She gets bell from her friends at nursery, iso from one of my friends but pretty much Isobel all the time

DoucheCanoe · 27/03/2022 18:44

Aria
Alyssa
Alanna
Hanna
Robyn
Erin
Ciara
Zoe
Thalia

KirstenBlest · 27/03/2022 18:48

Olivia - it's been too popular for too long, will always be Olivia Surname
Gracie - Grace is ok but very popular. Gracie a bit nicknamey
Mia - overused and meh
Alaya - A layer?
Leia - a bit too Star Wars. Leah is better
Layla - no, but Leila is ok
Darcie - Darcie/Darcy/Darcey overused and on the way out
Ella - Ella and Ellie have been too popular for too long
Ava - dislike it
Middle names-
Amber - fine
Daisy - ok
Olive - Olivia is better

Nosetickle · 27/03/2022 18:58

I like all your name choices except Alaya and Leia. What about Alaina or Layla instead? Others you might like, Rosanna/Rosie, Abigail, Jessica, Florence, Ashleigh, Orla, Ruby, Connie?

AuntDympna · 27/03/2022 19:00

Leia is my favourite because it is similar but different.

RoostasTowel · 27/03/2022 19:02

Savannah
Flora

@cptartapp

Olivia - done to death, dated Gracie- No. But Grace is ok. Mia - dated. Alaya - big no. Leia - wishy washy Layla - Childish Darcie - Darcey is just about ok. Ella - meh Ava - God no more of these Amber - dated Daisy - wet Olive - strongly dislike, hard

Natalie/Natalia
Alicia
Meredith
Rosa
Eloise
Hayley

I like Alicia, pronounced as A-lis-ee-a rather than Alicia keys. But would this get confused? Also quite like Rosa, adding to list

DP's sister is Eloise shortened to Ellie so wouldn't work. Even Ella could be too close although I do like Ella.

Not keen on Helena ☹️ I don't mind Eleanor but it is my cousins name not that that would matter too much as I don't see her.

Thank you, ruling out Olive, I think if my parents called me Olive id spend my whole life wishing they'd just called me Olivia!

There are all perfectly nice but fairly bland names - but there's nothing wrong with that if that's the vibe you are going for. The only name name I dislike on your list is Darcie, and my favourite is Amber.

I like nature names personally so if I were naming a daughter I'd choose something like: Willow, Iris, Camellia, Sylvia, Cordelia, Selene, Aurelia or Jasmine.

unsurereallyx1 · 27/03/2022 19:10

@DoucheCanoe

Aria Alyssa Alanna Hanna Robyn Erin Ciara Zoe Thalia
Quite like Alyssa and Thalia - but feel people would pronounce it wrong as could be Ta-leah or Tar-leah..

What do we think about Charlie..? I love it for a little girl but would she get teased for having a 'boy' name?

Rosemary2022 · 27/03/2022 19:30
