I love the name Miles and have for as long as I can remember, however I married a Moores..

Miles Moores? My initial reaction was no, no chance, I can't. But the more I think about it I think actually it's not that bad. It's starting to sound normal albeit a little quirky sounding.

Fully prepared to be told it's terrible and that I'm just desperate to use my favourite name. I'll blame the pregnancy hormones if so Grin

I would break it up with a middle name. And I would ensure it has no M or S in it Grin

Hmmmm I like both names but as they both end in "s" it would be a no for me! My surname is Jones so I've had this same issue!

I quite like it bu it does sound very comic book character a la Jessica Jones, Peter Parker etc depends if you like that or not!

I wouldn't. Miles Moores. It does sound like a character name. It has the kinda ring the new Spiderman does - Miles Morales.

Mile Smoores, is how my accent pronounces it. Just change your surname.

I think that Miles Moores is just a step too far!
But what about Giles? A super name with a similar vibe to Miles and works much better with Moores.
