Not Claudie

I’m unexpectedly pregnant with #2 and I’m trying to focus on names to help me get excited.

Can anyone suggest French girl names that end in ie? Not Amelie. If possible a bit more unusual. Two syllables or maybe three.

I really love Claudie but not the meaning (lame/crippled) so something similar would be nice.

I know not French but I also really like Maely… So I guess wildcard suggestions welcome too.

Cecilie (sorry can't get accents on this keyboard easily)
Natalie
Marie

I really like Aurelie, but I'm afraid that now it sounds too much like 'orally' and could lead to teasing

Elodie
Leonie

I love both these names

Are you actually in France or UK?

Aurelie works in France but not here.

I prefer Maelys (which I love) to Maely.

Lissie87 · 13/02/2022 19:41

Actually in the UK. Wish I was in France though!
