Hi lovely people

Baby no 2 (a boy) is due in 2 short weeks and we still don't have a name. DH and I can't seem to agree or there is a reason we can't "use" the name.

Our daughter is called Charlotte and I tend to prefer traditional names that you can shorten when they're little.

So far we have Oliver and Joshua, but neither feel right (I may be being sensitive as I had name regret with my little girl).

Any suggestions would be really welcome!

I don’t see Jack as ‘going’ with Charlotte, tbh.

I thought George and Louis too Grin

Nicholas, Benjamin, Henry, Thomas, Alexander sort of names.

My children have traditional names (mine is something my mum made up and could never find my name on anything 😂)

Edward
Joseph
Theodore (love it shortened to teddy)
Charles (charlie)
Henry
William
Frederick

Are there any grandparents names you could incorporate?

Harry was my first thought. I love Daniel

Edward. I have an Edward who has a little friend called Charlotte and I always think what a nice sounding pair they make.

Thanks everyone! There are some brilliant suggestions here!

James is DH's name, so we don't want to use it as a first name but maybe a middle name. I love George and Daniel but can't use them (silly reasons but they stand).

I love Charlotte's name now. Without going into the long background, I suffered with PND after she was born and I think I just focused on it for a period.

I'm quite looking forward to going through these with DH tonight! Xx
