Opinions on this unusual name?

So i was planning on naming my daughter Raven, she's due in September, but i found a really nice unusual name but i don't know what other people would think about it, Shado. What do you think of the name Shado? TIA

I prefer Raven. I'm not sure how you'd pronounce Shado but it's too similar to 'Shadow'.

They're both very... extreme, rather than just unusual.

I don't like either. A Raven is a big, sinister looking bird and Shado sounds made-up.

I love Raven but would be a bit daft in a blonde haired blue eyed girl so unless you and DP are both dark hair/skin I'd avoid. Shado is better for a puppy IMO. Sorry.

Looks like it should be pronounced Shaydo though. For Shadow just spell it Shadow or Shaddo. It's probably still a bad choice though.

Yikes. Shado is awful, in my opinion. I would pronounce it shay-doe if I saw it written down. Why on earth wouldn't you write it as shadow, if that's what you want to call her?

If shado is pronounced like shadow, controversially I would just spell it like Shadow. Personally, I think Raven sounds nicer though, especially for a first name.

Could always have Raven with Shado/shadow as a middle name, depending on what your last name is.

Her last name will be Octavia, i think shado(w) as a middle name would make the name too dark if theres Raven in the name too.
