Siskin is a good one.

MindGrapes · 05/05/2021 16:07

Cross-posted!! I even checked no-one had suggested it!

ILoveShula · 05/05/2021 19:15

Has anyone suggested Turdus?

Frolickingfoam · 05/05/2021 20:23

Oh my gosh there are some amazing suggestions on here 😂😂😂 too many to name check but safe to say I am appreciating the joke ones.

Yes I agree Wren is probably too popular. Genuinely surprised about the unanimous hate for Heron! Maybe when you know someone with a name it changes it for you. I do really like Lark.

Wren or Robyn

Wilma55 · 05/05/2021 20:51

Tori can mean bird in Japanese.

ILoveShula · 05/05/2021 20:54

I don't dislike Heron, it just seems a peculiar name suggestion for a baby girl.
Peregrine is a boy's name. Heron is a bird's name. Ardea might be better.

Deena07 · 05/05/2021 21:05

From your list, I like Wren and Robin.

But there is also Jay and Raven which I quite like.

Phoenix is cute but I would personally use it more for a boy.

I met a birdie & her mum in the park once & they were both really cool 😎

JemimaJoy · 06/05/2021 05:42

Heron made me laugh too! Definitely doesn't seem like a name. Not a very glamorous bird either, somehow. They remind me of grandpas more than little girls!

Lark also doesn't sound very nice for a name. And Birdie too nickname-y.

I like Wren, Dove and Robin.

Luckyelephant1 · 06/05/2021 23:18

From your list I quite like Lark. Robin and Wren are OK.

Raven is also cool.

Please don't use Heron!

MyMagicStars · 06/05/2021 23:29

I think Heron is gorgeous! One of my DDs’ nicknames is Puffin, I had some very strange looks at the park once or twice. Was adorable for a toddler, not so much as a career woman now she’s in her twenties- they do grow up!

Linnet · 06/05/2021 23:36

I think Linnet is a nice name.Wink
Wren is nice too.

autumnkate · 08/05/2021 08:07

Lark

rosed1008 · 08/05/2021 14:18

I have a Robin! She really suits it and it rolls off the tongue nicely.

She also has little Robin christmas tree decorations 😀😀😀
