Daisy Alice or Charlotte daisy

Trinacham · 06/03/2021 08:59

Ella Daisy

TenThousandSpoons · 06/03/2021 09:08

Daisy with either middle name is lovely.
Daisy goes better with Arthur.
Your DS calling her “Dizzy” as a nickname is just an adorable plus Smile

Ella Daisy.

Daisy is a cute name for child, but "hello, I'll be your surgeon today. My name is Daisy."? No.

Fullofthejoysofspring · 06/03/2021 15:38

Charlotte Daisy

I think Daisy Alice is lovely

sarah13xx · 08/03/2021 17:43

Really like Daisy! This would be one of my top names if I was having a girl. Ella is a nice name but is becoming so common here. I’m trying to remember when naming my little boy that a middle name is almost never used and only really matters for the initial bit of when you tell people your child’s full name. I’d use Daisy for the first name for that reason

MadamMiddle · 10/03/2021 14:06

Daisy Charlotte is my favourite 😊
I think Daisy is a very pretty name and in this day and age she can be whatever she wants to be. I know a solicitor called Darcy and a doctor called Dolce so I wouldn't be concerned.

buntingandstarcharts · 12/03/2021 11:43

Thank you everyone. Daisy Alice seems to be winning slightly ahead of Daisy Charlotte. I think everyone's support and nice words have really cemented that Daisy is the one (not Ella). Smile I feel less worried about it being a child's name only after looking at Daisy Ridley, Daisy Lowe, Daisy Edgar-Jones. Feisty, independent women! Also, Dr Daisy (should she want to be a doctor) sounds friendly, sunny and to be honest someone very lovely who I would trust. But I guess personal opinion only. Thank you to everyone for your help and bring on any further comments should anyone have one xx

My dad and sister are doctors, (one junior, the other a senior consultant and former clinical director), and they would die laughing at the pomposity of someone saying they can't take Dr Daisy seriously. Ridiculous comment. HCPs aren't usually stuffy arseholes, so think Dr Daisy will be grand Smile.

@BallsToYouSue thank you DaffodilSomeone said on the thread they would laugh if they heard a Doctor Daisy, glad that person is in the minority!

@BallsToYouSue.
We have doctor named Tallulah on my ward and she is brilliant.
There are some insufferable snobs on MN

BallsToYouSue · 12/03/2021 15:54

@Thedogscollar, you are correct!
